Update: I was sent a lid that has dimples. It holds it in place now. Great change. Not sure if all products have these now or just for me. Bumping up the stars for great customer service, but be cautious of original review.On my other brand's SS lunch containers, the lid has a deeper lip overhang that has a dimpled nub that snaps into place locking the lid onto the container. This container's lip is shallow with no snapping lock. The lids just free floats on the container. You can imagine how easy it is for a kid's lunchbox to be tossed around a bit and lose the lid.I didn't expect this to be waterproof, but I did expect a soft friction fit like other similar stainless steel boxes. The box itself is great. Would not buy again.

At first opening I really loved this product. The compartments are larger than any lunchbox I have bought. I can fit a whole sandwich in the big compartment plus fruit or veggies or whatever else. The other two compartments are also large. I fit a whole single bag of sunchips in one small compartment (minus like 3 chips). They look nice and fit perfectly in my kids lunch bag. My only issue is the top. I bought two of these and one lid snapped on nice and tight. Almost too tight as I was worried my child wouldn't be able to open it. She can but woth small struggle finding the right corner that's loose enough to pull open. The other one that came the lid would fall right off and was very loose. But husband bent the lip of the lid in and got it to fit more snug though so I suppose that's an easy fix problem. So all In all, I love it. Maybe a new lid design in the future but I'm pleased.

We purchased our bento boxes in 2022 and have used them almost everyday for my kids lunches and snacks in school, summer camp, picnics, beach days, and more. We take them everywhere.They are so durable, SAFE, and perfect for big and small portions. We just love them.I typically don’t leave reviews but felt the need to since we lost our lid and I reached out to Weesprout for a replacement. Their customer service and responsiveness is worth noting. They really stand by their product and have impressive customer service. They have a loyal customer for life.

We've been using these for our 6yo and 4yo school lunches for a few months. This is the second brand we have tried and it is our favorite. They feel solid and clean easily without staining. I can clean in the seams of the divider with a small brush and haven't seen any buildup. The big compartment is the perfect size for a sandwich. The small container is able to hold yogurt without exploding in a backpack. We do send it inside a zipper lunchbox. Our 6yo lost the lid, when I messaged WeeSprout through Amazon, they responded same day and gave me a new one free of charge. So generous.

Overall I really loved the design of the lunchbox- I love that it is stainless steel and it makes me feel good about putting my 7 year old daughters food in it vs. plastic. The dividers are the perfect size for a sandwich and two sides. She picked the blue color which is vibrant and I love the non-skid bottom.I really was expecting to love this and had planned on ordering more in order to meal prep however the second day I packed it for her the lid came off and made a bit of a mess in her lunchbox. Her lunch was salvageable and she said she ate it but I obviously felt bad that it happened to her. Perhaps user error or fluke but I think it would have been nice to have a matching band or something to keep it closed so it is a little bit disappointing.I rely heavily myself on Amazon reviews in order to make an informed purchase. We have 4 elementary aged kids, and have gone through about 8 packs of the plastic versions of these in the last 6-7 years. We thought we’d finally bite the bullet and spend a lot of money on this longer lasting option. We’ve had them for about a month.Cons first:- When we received them (4), the silicone bases were absolutely filthy. I had to clean them with 3 different products to get them clean.- They’re bigger than the standard plastic ones, so they don’t really fit into the popular lunchboxes you’d buy from target or wherever.- The lids tend to not stay on (my kids make their own lunches, so this may be user error—but they should probably be kid proof).- The interior compartments are not water tight. So if you pack orange slices in one and a sandwich in the other, your sandwich will be soggy by lunch.- They’re heavy.Pros:- They do feel like they’ll last a long time.- They’re dishwasher safe.

This box is great quality and the perfect size for what we were looking for! I'm trying hard to use less plastic and baggies overall so the compartments are a great solution for my child's lunch. Other boxes seemed too small but this is perfect. It's gone through the dishwasher several times now and it's still like new! My daughter's lunch fits perfectly into it and I'm sure an adult size lunch would work too. The little container that comes with the box was a nice addition. The lid isn't secure enough to hold liquids but it's great for little treats like m&m's or raisins. Glad we made this purchase!
