Very spacious pack! Lots of exterior and interior options. Purchased a total of five Black 40L Backpacks, for family. At the time these were on sale and bought to use as survival pack kits. Glad I purchased them, as the price has gone back up! So, for the person that is wanting this as a tactical bag, it does serve that purpose. The "MOLLE" strapping, on the back is a solid piece of material sewn at the edges completely, with the inner portion having the cut outs that resemble a "MOLLE" pattern. This set up is effective, but not as strong as individual retention spots would be, with this system the weight is distributed along the entire piece of fabric. I can see with time, the material if not evenly used, would stretch and stress at points. Not a big deal for my usage. I don't plan on using the bags for routine hikes or excursions, but rather to keep in one place, items for certain situations. The straps are comfortable, and if the weight in the bag is kept to maybe 30lbs, I doubt there would be any dig in to shoulders. I've read reviewers speak of discomfort with bags of this type, and it seems that dedicated hikers put out those reviews. No bag of this type is going to be comfortable on a 16 mile daily hike, times three days each excursion. A frame pack is necessary for hikes and travels of those durations, and I speak from experience. I spent many years in the military, carrying average weights of 50lbs of gear on my back, with a weapon and more on my waist, usually 16 miles at a time, and not at my desired pace, lol! My advice is purchase a frame pack for weight and duration hikes. And, use a tactical pack of this size (40L) for shorter excursions. You can pack the necessities, and use clips and rings to hold all the extras on the outer pack. Too many "survivalist" and "preppers" have put to much emphasis on the term "tactical backpack". In the real world, you'll throw your back out trying to carry the amount of gear suggested with a strap pack alone. Have fun with this well put together Backpack, it's great for sportsmen, students, and overall recreation activities!!!

I fly fpv (quadcopters/drones) we carry alot! This back has pockets for days!! Compartment everywhere!! Theres sooo much room! Its built really good! Im sooooo happy with this purchase. Ima do a vid on this on my youtube channel! If u fly this is a epic back for u!! Ide give it 10 stars!!! 🌟

I was very impressed when I received this backpack. I was concerned that it was actually smaller than it looked and I worried that it wouldn't hold much. However, I was really wrong. The backpack is big, has tons of pockets and you're able to attach several things to it as well. It was a really good buy for the money.

I just received my new extremus footlocker today can’t wait to begin setting it up as a 72hour bug out. I feels nice and sturdy capable of handling all I’m going to throw at it. I do currently have a 2L bladder in it currently but can handle a bigger bladder. I’ll also give another review with the pros and cons after some use.

All I will say is, I'm getting another one but in a different color well worth the money, well worth it. If you are the typical novice traveler or hiker then I would recommend this item

This is perhaps no lie the best book bag I have ever owned! So much space and no too heavy and most importantly very durable in which I love

Took this bag on a 2 day camping trip with my 16 year old daughter and I was very impressed. I was able to pack 2 tents, 2 sleeping mats, 2 sleeping bags, a hammock, a bug screen, cooking ware, all clothing, extra shoes, firestarter kit, 2 days of freeze dried food for 2 and extra socks. I also strapped on a knife and an axe to the exterier molle system. Strapped it on and hiked 5 miles to camp site comfortably. Love it!!!!

Bought to use for 4-5 day camping trips, works awesome. Many many pockets and different sections to keep everything separated. Zips to bottom which is nice.
