Therapeutic!
This was a very fun, though tedious, project. Originally I got it for my 7 year old, but she had difficulty staying focused for long periods work on the smaller diamonds. I ended up doing most of this project myself as the mom, but I decided that I truly enjoyed it and I'd love to do another one. The end product is SO BEAUTIFUL!

Very cute
My 9 year old ordered this to make a little gift for her younger sister. It is way cuter than expected and comes with a frame. It’s not too big, and it includes very with nice sparkly diamonds.

Good, but not exactly as pictured
Just a heads up for the next person: the astronaut cat we received was not the same as the one in the product images. The one in the promo features larger gems and looks to be an easier design for a younger child to put together on that account. That was what my daughter was expecting and looking forward to. The one we received has no large gems in the design at all and is more work on that account. Thankfully she's capable of it, and the image is still the same - just as cute - but she was disappointed not to get the larger gem version, and some children may not be capable of the more dense, adult-size gems in the presumably newer version, so just fair warning.

better than some-easier to cover the circles on the canvas; lots of 2mm "gems", can a child do this?
This is only my second kit - but I LOVE the fact that the circles on the canvas are smaller than the "gems" so easier to cover completely. The first kit I did had larger circles and I had to keep nudging the "gems" with a tapestry needle (they have a dull point) to get them to cover the white circle. This kit is more "dense" too with the "gems" and looks prettier. Both kits are unicorns (doing them for grandnieces). I can't imagine a young child doing these. I also LOVE the larger "gems" in this kit - it's prettier to have the variety in sizes. I would buy again from this seller.Update - this kit turned out beautifully; it took me about 3 weeks, I am 82, female
