Great leveler
I love this leveler. I took it to work and use it daily. The wire cuts the cake cleanly and has not broke yet after months of daily use.My only question is how to get replacement wires when the wire does break.

Wasn’t sure I would like this, but it surpassed my expectations. Easy to use and adjust for different heights

Difficult to cut straight with
I really wanted this cake leveler to work. It felt cheap and it was difficult to adjust the height. Like way more difficult than it should be. I also felt like it caused crumbles on the cake, it didn't level the cake smooth. I can do a better job with a serrated knife and eye guidance.

Sturdy
This product is very sturdy and make slicing through cake very easy creating extra layers with a little fuss

Unless you're cutting something with density, give this one a pass
Might be great for cutting blocks of cheese or something similar. For cakes it's a mess waiting to happen with uneven lines. One might argue that the cake needs to cool completely, but it doesn't matter if the cake is fluffy.
