I had spine surgery and needed a second brace. these ended up being the ones I used more because it was more comfortable than the ones the hospital provided. I take them off and put them back on a lot and the Velcro has been very durable. it is easy to adjust and provides good support for my neck. The price was way cheaper than at my local pharmacy. The only drawback is that my neck gets a little too warm and sweaty when I wear it but that's with all braces.

I bought a second one of these collars so that I can wash one and let it thoroughly dry and use the other. I have a special use where I use this collar to help support my jaw closed while I sleep on my back to help control sleep apnea. I did add extra Velcro strips to make this work for me, but for use as a cervical collar, it probably shouldn't be an issue (I urderd the 2.5", Large) For the purpose of this review, as a cervical collar, I did try the unmodified brace. It felt like it provided good support and is still comfortable. I had no trouble sleeping in this brace. In general, construction and stitching is very good. I downgraded one-star for only one reason - the free end of the Velcro adjusting strap is not finished, which may make it a little difficult to find the end of the strap to release. For my use, it was easy for me to add about 1/2" more Velcro to the extensions I added so that I could fold- over and make about a 1/4" 'grab-tab' to make release easy. Many user could probably do the same with the existing Velcro strap if there is sufficient adjustment strap available. It was easy to create the grab-tab with a zig-zag stitch on a sewing machine.

Helps my hand nerve pain that’s coming from my neck but the first night it gave me terrible rash under my chin. Not sure if there’s something in the fabric. I usually don’t have sensitive skin.

It’s a very good and simple cushion. Very comfortable for any cervical pain. I used mine to correct posture for a pinched nerve and slept in it all week with zero trouble. It was very relaxing! Not too bulky but thick enough to keep your entire head straight. It’s warm but due to the material, it breathes pretty nicely! Will be sweaty in summer, however, haha.

Works & is not hard & uncomfortable

This Neck Brace (I ordered the 2.5" Large) did not come as specified. It's actually almost 3 inches high verses 2.5. See picture. Anyhow, since I had it, I tried it last night and it wasn't a good fit. I did not put it on tight, but loosely around my neck. It was already putting slight pressure on my chin since it's higher than 2.5", just shy of 3" - see pictures. I laid down with it on and after 2 hours, couldn't stand it any longer with the pressure & heat. The foam feels like standard foam vs memory type foam so it's a bit stiff and hard feeling after wearing it for some time. It also heated up. The material seems like polyester so doesn't breath too well. I'm going to see about returning it if I can. Not sure since I tried it for a few hours. It's definitely not the size that is stated or that I ordered. Also, the box arrived a little crushed and looked like it was already opened by someone. UPDATE: The company reached out to me with support and allowed me to get a refund. Although I still stand with my review above, this company has decent respectable customer service which is much appreciated. If you have a longer neck size, perhaps this collar will work for you.

I bought this after I had a car wreck. The wreck injured my neck and shoulders, and my head felt like it weighed 100 pounds on my neck. This item was washable and had great Velcro strength. I found this to be very helpful as it helped to l keep the pressure off of me trying to hold my head up on my own. If I had to, I would buy it again. I hope I won’t need to, but if I had to, I would buy this item again.

The material in this one doesn’t glide very well against the skin—you can’t wear it for long before it starts to chafe.

I think they've sent me a larger neck brace. A 2.5 inch would have been perfect. But I've received a 3 inch brace. I bought this for controlling snoring and it kind of works. Basically when you are sleeping on your back, the lower jaw loosens and opens up as you fall asleep. This is why we start snoring. Wearing a neck brace like this holds the jaw and keeps the mouth closed. There are other face/chin straps for this. But I didn't find them comfortable. This one seems to do the job well. Just be careful about the size and softness when buying so that it is not uncomfortable while sleeping. For 250/- we can experiment and find the best fit.
