Having suffered for years from migraines exacerbated by neck pain, I didn't think it would be easy to find a pillow that would ease the strain on my neck. I got lucky on the first try with this one. The reason I ordered this one is because it has a "drop" towards the back of the pillow, so not only does your head tilt back at a more natural angle, but there isn't anything abutting the top of your head, like a rise at the back of the pillow (the part that faces the headboard or wall). When I have a headache, I can't have anything even touching my head, so this was a major plus for me - finally, my neck was supported properly and my head wasn't being compressed or even touched.When I have migraines, I often have to slip an ice pack under my neck, and this pillow has the perfect amount of room for that, too. I don't know why people here are saying it's not good for side sleepers - except when in the midst of a killer migraine, I naturally sleep on my side, and this works perfectly. I'm on here ordering a second one for our cabin, so I don't have to tote this one back and forth! My only suggestion for improvement would be the inclusion (or option to buy) more covers - being white, they get dirty fast. But as complaints go, that's small potatoes! Grateful for a good night's sleep. Recommended.

I have previously purchased a memory foam pillow from that big warehouse store. You know. Anyways, it didn't work out great for me personally but I wanted to try something along those lines. I've gone through many pillows in my day. In retrospect, I may have been using the warehouse one upside down. This new one is considerably lighter than the other brand I had, and a bit larger (see photo). I was intrigued by the dip for the neck. I am a back and side sleeper, and this pillow said it would work for both, and it does. At first I thought I didn't like it - it seemed too high for my neck. I switched back to my old pillow in the middle of the night and woke up with a sore neck. Gave this charcoal one another shot and haven't looked back. It's been a couple of weeks. My neck truly feels a lot better and I find I move around less in the night. I don't think it does anything for my back but that's a problem with my mattress. I do think pillows are a personal preference so what may work for me might not for another, but I did let my husband try this one out twice, and he found it helped him to move around less and his neck felt much better in the morning. Looks like I'll be getting another one! (One downside is they don't fill the king pillowcases nicely, so I hide it behind my larger pillows when I make the bed) there is a removable zippered case that can be washed but I add my own pillow case on top.

I really love this product for when I’m sleeping in my back which is a majority of the time but it’s nit May favourite for when I move to my side. I like tucking my hands under the pillow when I’m in my side and this pillow doesn’t leave any allowance for that small tuck so I end up waking up. Over all I do love that the pillow is firm yet soft and supports my neck pretty well

I waited to write a review after using this pillow for at least 5 months. This pillow came in well packaged and the smell went away pretty quickly too. It maintains its form and is a good balance between soft and firm. While this pillow is advertised as a back AND side sleeper, it is aimed more for a back sleeper. I tend to sleep on my side and when I do, the dip in the center of this pillow causes me neck pain. If you are looking for a pillow for a side sleeper, I would recommend looking at other pillows on Amazon. Find one that elevates your neck evenly all across the bottom edge.

I use a cpap machine to sleep. This pillow exceeded my expectations. When it arrived it was folded i said great its a small travel size. Nope its a nice full size pillow. Perfect arch in the middle for back sleeping and sides perfect for side sleeper like me. I like a firm pillow. This one is best I've had in a while.
