NutricostMagnesium Malate Powder (300g) - 420mg of Magnesium Per Serving - Non-GMO, Gluten Free

I have tried many forms and taken magnesium nightly for several years, used for knocking the edge off migraine pain. Read recently that Magnesium malate was good for body aches and it did take away my all over perimenopausal fibromyalgia body aches, I was seriously shocked how much it helped. I prefer powders over pills because you can adjust dosage easily and they generally don't have additives and fillers like capsules typically do. We took this in a shot of water nightly. The taste is not great (certainly nothing extreme) but my husband found it awful so I switched to a flavored mix for him- I would buy this again though. Also note malate can cause a GI response so we started at ¼ dose and built up to full dose over several weeks and everything was fine.

Excellent grade of magnesium. No taste and mixes perfectly with water or other drink like protein shakes.

I was recommended this by one of my doctors for a medical issue I have. I use a scoop that comes with it in my drink every morning to ensure I get the full amount. Usually this canister lasts approximately 4-6 months. So it's a good value as well. Very easy to mix into anything. Dissolves quickly. Because I live in a humid area, I do add an extra moisture packet to the plastic container, so far it hasn't caked and appears just as fresh from opening it to when I get the last scoop.

Works well! I like that I can just use this powder instead of several mag capsules. The only bad thing is that it has a bitter and slightly fishy taste to it. Yuck. I put it in as little water as possible and shoot it, then have a another drink as a chaser.

Dissolves easily, good deal, perfect for making electrolyte drinks cheaply.

This was purchased for my homemade electrolyte drink mix. So far, it seems to be working well... I haven't had any hydration issues. This amount of magnesium malate will last an incredibly long time.

Great for electrolyte drinks. I use 1/8 teaspoon of this and 1/8 teaspoon of sea salt and a little sugar and half a lemon in 16 oz. Great for quenching and sleeping great.

Bought this to mix up with other ingredients for LMNT's diy recipe (online - search if you're interested) for electrolytes.So, assuming the product is exactly what it says it is, and we generally like Nutricost products, this is great.With the other ingredients in the recipe it mixes up cleanly without a strong taste.
