I love these wands. I’ve ordered one before and I just love the style and craftsmanship of it. You can tell they put a lot of effort into these and are very economical with the cost. The only downside is my local post office kind of shoved it into the box and it snap in the packaging. Unfortunate but it’s the USPS fault. Luckily I’ve got the right compound to mend it right away. Crisis averted. I’ll be ordering another again because I just love this style of wand. Huge collector here and dabble in making wands myself. Can’t wait to put in my next order to add to the collection!! Highly recommend

I like that this is made from real wood, unlike the many plastic replica wands available elsewhere. The animal carvings are a unique touch and my kids loved them.

Contrary to what some other reviews have said, this wand is made out of genuine wood and hand carved. But the beauty of the wood is greatly obscured by the decision to cover it in a thick layer of entirely too much latex paint, which obscures the wood grain and the carvings and makes it feel plasticky. Half an hour with some steel wool took off the thickest of that layer of paint so that some of the wood grain started to show through while leaving most of the color, which greatly improved its appearance. Ideally, though, the manufacturer would have been stained and perhaps finished with a satin polyurethane finish instead of the wholly inappropriate latex paint. If they fixed that one issue, this would be a 5-star product.

This was awesome. My daughter's favorite character in Harry Potter is Sirius Black and she says this looks exactly like his wand. It is identical to the name-brand wand at a fraction of the price. Great job making this thing!

Great crafted wand!

There are a lot of sellers selling this particular item on Amazon, and it is always advertised as being wood, but reading the reviews, often it turns out that the item is actually a resin cast knock-off, so I was a little wary about getting it. But some of the reviews for this one did mention that it was wood, and when checking the info, I saw that it was made in Vietnam, not China, so I decided to go for it (I live in New Zealand, so sending things back to the US if they aren't right, is a nightmare).It arrived today, and I am very happy with it. It definitely is wood, making perfectly suitable for its intended use. Woodwork is not my fortè, so I would rather pay to have a nice item and consecrate it to use, than have a half-assed travesty of my own making, lol. Very happy to recommend this seller.
