It worked out fine for me.
this is a small remote, works good, links up right away, and the big thing is you don't have to be leaning over the hot fan of the projector trying to see what button to press when needed.

Is this the most fragile remote I've ever held in my hands? Yes. Did it arrive "pre broken"? Yes. Is it like I'm holding an empty egg shell? Yes. Could I break it by pressing a button too hard? Yes. Does it work...? Yes. It's better than having no remote, but I guess you get what you pay for...
