Helpful wee gadget, I'm in temporary accommodation and didn't want to be tied down to a broadband contract so this has been so useful. There's another review stating that you can't use a sim card with it but I've used a smarty SIM and had no issues. It might help to put the SIM in a phone and set it up, then once everythings set put it in the router and that's it. The only reason I took 2 stars off was because the signal drops quite a bit and can't handle more than 2/3 devices at a time but as a temporary solution it's great!

Bought this early before going to the Tour de France. Tested it at home, all good. As soon as I got into Europe it refused to provide internet. WiFi good. Connection good. SIM card good settings checked and double checked.Put the SIM in a spare phone I took just in case this happened. Good job I did.I suggest you also use an old phone as a hotspot rather than this as I won't work.

Disgusting, absolutely no way to set up the SIM card. The company never answers their phone and o2 have no idea how to activate this SIM card either so paid 40quid for nothing!!
