Not a whole lot to say on this, it does exactly what it says. I prefer to wait until after storing it for a season and pulling it back out again to review something like this, so I can make sure it's going to last at least longer than a year, and so far this is going it's job. My wife and I were given a 'hand-me-down' unit from a houseguest who wasn't going to be needing it anymore, but the remote had been lost long ago. Did my research, bought this one, it paired up without a problem and has been working correctly ever since.

Works great as a replacement for the Black & Decker BPACT08WT. Really easy to use. If you’re having trouble since it does not come with directions, you can download the user manual for the AC online and it works exactly as described. Does in fact use 2 AAA batteries, not sure why it says no batteries required.

I have an American Comfort portable air conditioner unit and though it is not listed as one of the make and models associated with this remote's description, it does indeed work. I knew it would work as this remote looks exactly like the one I needed to replace. I've also attached a pic of my AC unit. My assumption is that one factory make these AC units and remotes and other companies buy from them and add their own brand labels on them. So if your remote and portable AC looks like this, I'm sure it would work with yours.

Did not work with BPACT08WT

No need to programs! just put batteries in there and it work right away ! My model is Black Decker : BPACT12

My 85 year old father misplaced his remote. Works wonderfully!!! A few days later we found his original under a magazine so retuned it. If I need again I will reorder. 🙂
