Redhead Windscreen for Zoom H4n (Midnight)

Note: I use this with a Tascam DR-40. Redhead makes a version specifically for that model, but it's not sold through Amazon. The 2 external recorders are practically the same size, and this fits well on the DR-40. The only DR-40 issue I've noticed is that the windscreen wants to cover up the headphone jack, which is pretty close to the microphones.I saw one of these on a shoot, and decided I needed to have one. The difference it makes to sound quality outdoors is priceless. The small condenser microphones on these recorders are really prone to wind noise, but this windscreen does a great job of reducing or eliminating it.

I've tested this windscreen in many different conditions, much better protection than the foam factory windscreen. Doesn't muffle the sound at all like some windscreens. Offers adequate protection in most circumstances except the most extreme cases. Good price, high quality, FITS MUCH BETTER THAN OTHER CHEAPER MODELS (cough*MicMuff*cough). Highly recommend!
