Not the newest but preloved prices are incredible!
An oldie but a goodie! I have been battling with using an iPad for too long - found the whole i-environment is not easy for a Windows user who refuses to play the i-game. As the SP7 isn't that much bigger/ heavier and is a whole lot more usable for my needs, I went on a search to replace it with a Windows tablet and found this preloved (refurbished) model for so little money compared to a similarly powered/ storage size iPad, it was rude not to buy it.I should point out as with the iPad, the SP7 is only a secondary device (to a Surface Laptop3), but I wanted a tablet format for working in the evenings in front of the tv, for it's portability and multifunctionality. I love my SL3 but it's just too cumbersome for my needs in this instance.I had an SP3 before and my old keyboard and stylus work with it but it's got the benefit of USB-C so easily fits into my SL3 deskspace with a bit of cable fiddling when needed.I love the form factor, having been sucked into the original SP when it came out way back when. It's a great device for my needs, runs Photoshop and other graphics software with no issues and connects to everything as you'd expect. For browsing the web or watching tv, the screen is superb - really high quality and lovely colours too. For graphics work, it's suitably powerful enough to cope with large files. A little glitchy with the stylus at times, but forgivable.Battery life is good for an older device - several hours of screen time and it holds power when in standby very well still.

Only worked for 2 days
Worked fine, set it all up but then it wouldn't charge or turn on. Returning for a refund.

Hardy and reliable machine, but usual issues with camera
Hardy and reliable, but my experience with surface pro is that the camera stops being recognised after a few days. I have this exact same problem with all my surface pros, Seems to be a design flaw. Otherwise, it's a great machine.

Not refurbished
Not refurbished!Turned on to find it is locked to DWP! Clearly not refurbished then and we are extremely concerned about the origin of this item.We are returning it and it's completely put us off buying anything refurbished from Amazon.

Condition not as described
While the tablet works perfectly hardware and software wise, I would not describe it as being in 'excellent condition'.The tablet has several large scuff marks on the side, several burn marks on the screen, and the kickstand is also loose.May be worth avoiding this one and going for a brand new one instead.

Good product new
It's a good product new, having used company issued before. I bought 'renewed' and the battery life isn't great but I have a huge power bank to charge from while travelling so it isn't as big an issue as it could be. The practicality of a tablet is why I purchased and have since bought a detachable keyboard and this provides another dimension to use. The on screen keyboard large and small versions aren't the best I've ever used and I have large hands/fingers. I bought as Windows 10 Pro and immediately upgraded free to 11 Pro but on hindsight shouldn't have done so, 11 is not as user friendly and part of the reason for buying a tablet was/is speed of access, which W11 has slowed down due to slightly illogical layout...it's getting almost as impractical as Apple IOS!Overall, pleased with the product, I'd rebuilt my laptop twice and the poor thing was looking and acting his age and although this tablet is heavier than the laptop (something to bear in mind) and even more so with the keyboard, it fits my working life much better.
