Got the 15' leash and I'm in love. Never thought I could love a leash but I do. My female yellow lab (70lbs) is an athlete and hates squirrels with a passion. She'll bolt in a heartbeat if she sees a squirrel so I needed a strong leash. It feels heavier than cheaper long leashes but I think it also that has to do with the padded handle. It isn't noticeable when walking tho and doesn't bother her in the least. I now have total confidence that my girl isn't going to get the better of me on our twice daily walks and/or runs. What a treat THAT is when walking a puller dog. I can yank her back (to slack line) with less effort and definite comfort. And because she KNOWS I'm not messing around, she's not testing me as much. This longer leash allows me to walk on the street and my dog on the natural easeway to smell everything out there. Perfect for my needs.

I read the product description thoroughly before ordering and did not see anything that indicated this item is not appropriate for small dogs. I have a 12 pound doxie who loves maximum leash length and thought this would be ideal. When the leash arrived, I was very disappointed to see the leash and connecting hardware were much too heavy to be used for him. Description should be more accurate that item is for medium / large dogs only. Also, the booklet included said item was assembled in the US, which is not at all the same as being made here. Disappointing overall.

I bought this leash 4 months ago to use when hiking, so NOT for daily use. It is comfortable and a good length. When not in use, it is hanging on a hook. While visiting, my son used it to take the dog out (grabbing the first leash he saw) and it snapped, allowing the dog to get loose.Luckily the dog had good recall, and I should have noticed it was fraying, I suppose. But 4 months of sporadic use (maybe 15 times) should not result in a leash snapping.

This is such a great leash , very well made with a great padded handle. We have a walker hound (rescue)Clarence, that as his breed dictates has his nose to the ground oblivious to his surroundings when he gets on a scent. So for his own protection he isn't able have the luxury of going off leash unless he is in a fenced in area. While at the lake, our other two dogs (labs ,both rescues as well) can be off leash and stay real close to us. Clarence on the other hand has to be on a leash, that being said ...to give him more room and a better experience while being out side walking at the lake, we purchased this 15 ft leash.(after trying a 15 ft nylon lead we found at a local pet store ... OUCH rope burns !) IT IS AWESOME! He is a good "walker"(pun intended lol) when on his 6ft dbl handle leash on regular walks, but this new found freedom that the 15 ft LEASHBOSS has allowed him is wonderful .... he gets the luxury and excitement to feel adventurous like the other guys and the wonderfully padded handle helps our hands as we follow behind him when he is on a scent. Great Price , QUALITY and a good investment. Thank you for a great product!

I found a lot of 15' training leashes locally but they were all very narrow, and felt weak. I have herding dogs that are well muscled and strong. I could easily see one of them snapping the skinny leashes. Not so with this Leashboss 15 Foot Dog Leash Padded Handle! This leash is very sturdy with the web leash being 1 inch across. The handle is well sewn with additional padding to protect your hands. It has a ring sewn in just below the handle to place a bag holder or anything else you need to carry. The hook at the other end is larger and stronger than most and appears to be made of stainless steel. So no rusting. I like the security of this leash and it helps me allow a longer run for training. All in all, this is a well made leash that I won't have to replace within the month.

This was a waste of my hard earned money! It lasted about one week and as soon as my dog pulled on it, it frayed in the middle portion. Another pull, and it was done! Complete waste of money! Very poor quality. My search for a new STURDY leash goes on. I wish I could get a refund as sewing thread would most likely be stronger. DO NOT PURCHASE.

My dog is about 80# and this is more than sturdy enough to hold her well. Lizzie is a Black and Tan Coonhound with an incredible drive to sniff out everything! The deer are out everywhere right now and I have no fear she will get away from me! The handle is nice and soft. The only thing that would make this better would be if the leash was actually a double leash sewn on itself to make it softer on my hands, too.

What a great find this was. I purchased the ten footer and glad I did because 15 would be too much slack. Even with the 10 footer you will need to pay attention because the extra slack can get tangled very easily. A 6 foot leash is just too short but this is perfect. Padded handle is awesome and very well constructed. I have a 7 month old Golden and wanted to give a little more freedom from the 6 footer, but not the fell reign of my 26 foot retractable. Love everything about this leash.
