I was looking for a sleeve to protect my Pixelbook from bumps and scratches. Something I could put my laptop into and then put it into another bag and feel confident that the computer inside was going to stay safe. I bought the Amazon Basics neoprene sleeve (https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B011J4C66G) but it was just a little too basic for my needs.This sleeve doesn't provide much in the way of padding against bumps, but due to the "leather" corners and edges, I feel like it would absorb at least a minor drop (sorry, not about to test it! :) ). The inside is a nice, soft material so your laptop will be protected from scratches. Also, while this is a little large for my Pixelbook, the envelope design is such that it does not slide around in the sleeve.This sleeve also has a few extra perks that I like. There is a thin pocket on the back so you can throw your stylus/pen in there as well as a USB cable and thin mouse and be more or less set for the day (assuming you can get a day out of your battery like a Pixelbook). The flap over the top leaves a gap on either side so you can actually leave your laptop in the sleeve while you charge it. It looks pretty professional and the magnetic closure is enough to keep the flap down, but simple and easy to operate with one hand.All-in-all this is a pretty nice sleeve for the price!

The cloth is very ok... as in the material.. macbook fits in but literally fits.. and you cant carry your charger with it... not worth the money for sure

Great product, fits the new MacBook 13" perfectly. Nice material, good craftsmanship. Back pocket could use a magnet too, or a zipper or Velcro.

I use this sleeve for my Pixelbook and it fits perfectly. It also looks good, and could easily be mistaken for a higher end file folder. So, it looks good carried around yet does not scream "steal me I contain a valuable laptop."I am very pleased with the durability and overall quality of this sleeve. I use it for extra protection around the house and when I take it somewhere not requiring a full laptop bag. I can fit my charging cord and accessories in the bag as well, but that does ruin the slim look of the sleeve and causes ugly bulge in my opinion. That is okay because that is not what the sleeve is designed for and I did not buy it for that. I also like the magnet closure. The magnets strike a good balance between securely closing and easy opening.My one concern. Complaint is that I would like an internal pen loop. Though my pen does neatly slide in the end with my Pixelbook.

I purchased this sleeve just over a year ago after reading reviews and falling in love with the elegance of the piece. The appearance was that of solid construction with good detail. About a month ago, I began to notice that there was a place where the leather was loosening from the stitching. I thought it would be fine. However, that was not the case. The entire bottom of the sleeve has pulled away from the stitching, creating a large opening where I can see all of the padding. I have put tape in and on the sleeve in an effort to make the piece still functional. If I used the sleeve daily and had been rough on it, I could see this making sense, but my computer routinely sat in the sleeve either in a bag or in a room, some days not even opened.It does not seem to me that the bottom of this case should be failing as it is not the part that is routinely opening or closing. I wish I had stuck with my old neoprene sleeve or purchased a similar one that was new. I will not be purchasing anymore Tomtoc products as I expect possessions that are well-cared for to last longer than a year. The product gets closer to unusable every day and is aesthetically unpleasing now.Update: After posting this review, Tomtoc contacted me promptly and offered a refund or replacement. I very much appreciated this and was able to get the refund processed quickly and efficiently. Given this, I changed my review from two starts to three stars for good customer service. The product itself would still maintain the two stars from the original review.
