I purchased the driver side front exterior chrome door handle for my 2011 Chevy Avalanche based on the reviews and delivery expectations of one day if I bought it within the next 1hour and some minutes. The package didn’t ship according to Amazon until over 24 hours later thus making it late by a day (not a deal breaker but irritating). When it arrived, I immediately opened it up and as I peeled back the blue anti-marring wrapping I quickly noticed, what I consider, a defect in the chrome coating. While the blue wrapping over the area appears pristine, the chrome coating looked marred. As expected from other reviews, the chrome coating was wavy and the overall product appears inferior based on weight, density of plastics, thickness (or lack thereof) of the gasket, things I was willing to look past for the price and supposed speedy delivery. The location of the marred chrome is less than ideal since it is on the top side of the door handle pull, will likely worsen quickly with use and already looks worse than my ten year old OEM handle pull.I messaged the seller looking for an acceptable resolve but have yet to hear back from them after the two business days and a weekend.I have already purchased a different one from a higher ranked seller made by Dorman. It’s twice the price but better seller ranking, better reviews and backed by a limited lifetime warranty.

This handle looks identical to the factory part in style and construction. My only fault with it was that the two bolt holes which secure it to the door were about a mm off. Now 1mm may not seem like much, but when the bolts won’t align with the holes it might as well be a kilometer. I had to drill out my door to get it to line up. Easy fix, looks and works great now that it’s installed…but I wasn’t expecting to have to drill out my door.

Chromes a bit wavy new. The OEM has better chrome, but same construction basically. I found one of the screws didn't start easily, and eventually fit it into place by hand first. Can't believe Chevy trucks use plastic on parts that gets so much man handling. Comparing - Overall good for the money. I installed it ~ 60 min. 2 years in...the chrome looks pitted - unlike oem. Pay a little more for OEM. if...Next time.

This item look and feel good and durable but doesn't fit perfect, so need to trim some extra material at the internal frame in order to fit like the original.

Purchased, installed and it broke within 5 days. Maybe the plastic was brittle from exposure or something. Either way, when I bought a different brand it was easy to tell the difference in quality of material. The newer one has more metal components inside than this one. Plus the fit was a little off. There was a small gap between the door and the handle itself. Just do yourself a favor and search for a quality part.
