I loved how I could get so many strips for such ...
I started using these strips in April this year. I loved how I could get so many strips for such a low price. I could test multiple times a day starting a week before my period was due. Not that that was necessary, but it was nice just to use to see how early I could get a positive test without being overly concerned about wasting money. Since April, I have not seen streaking, except as it is pulling across until it was dried. Did not receive a false positive, did not have a problem seeing the control line, and I never noticed an evaporation line. This month I started a week before as usual since getting these. 4 days before the day of my expected period at about 4 min 30-ish seconds, I noticed the faintest pink line. i thought I was crazy seeing it, so i asked my husband and he saw it too. So later when I had to pee two hours later, I tested with a digital pregnancy test ( I was waiting for pregmate to show a positive before using it) and it said pregnant. For the next few days, I continued to test to make sure those weren't flukes, and I noticed the positive line show darker, as well as the line showing much sooner, maybe up to a minute max. I am very happy with these strips and highly recommend them. I consider it a good early pregnancy test, since I was 4 days before my missed period. But I know some others might not think so. HCG develops at different rates depending on the woman, when implantation occurred, and on the pregnancy. Only drawback is having to always pee in a cup to dip the strip in, but pros heavily outweigh the con. Edit-8/ 2020 So after this initial positive review, the pregnancy resulted in miscarriage. It was helpful to use these after because it showed the lines getting fainter. By the time we were ready to try again, I still had plenty to use. Once again I found myself pregnant, and that was 6 days before my period was about to start. Unfortunately a week or two later it resulted in another miscarriage. Being paranoid I tested a week after the first and notice the line had gotten fainter, but chalked it up to maybe I was too hydrated. Anyway, about a month after that miscarriage, I didn’t know how my body would be so I only guessed that my period would arrive the same time it normally would have if I hadn’t been pregnant. Well, the time came and just curious, after peeing for the fifth time that day, I took one just to see, not thinking it would be positive. My pee was so clear that after a minute I just threw it in the trash. Like how would it detect a pregnancy with it like that. Well I went back a few hours later and just happened to see the faint positive line in the can. I was shocked so I made sure to wait and build my urine up again. Haha. And it was for sure a positive. Couldn’t believe it was detected. Throughout that whole time and continuous testing I still had some leftover and gave the rest to a friend. Still love that I had so many to ease my mind and to test when I needed! Will get again if we ever decide we want another!

Best cheap tests you’ll ever buy!
I see that some reviews people write false positives but I have never gotten a false positive like I have with other brands. Even first response has given me false positives but not pregmate! These are incredibly cheap and I don’t feel like I am wasting these tests like I was with first response. I got the positive with this the same as the first response although it was EXTREMELY FAINT but I saw the line! Now I am using it to see if my hcg is going up. I truly love these tests and I highly recommend getting them if you need to see if you are pregnant or trying to conceive! The photos below are tests all 2 days apart!

Better than Wonfo
These test are pretty good and dare I say more sensitive than even the 10ml wondfo. The test has a pretty good wide strip so it's reaaaaally easy to read. I have gotten 2 batches with this brand. When negative, it will clearly show a very hard outline for where the test line is but there is absolutely no color. When positive the hard test line is no longer there and you can see color, no matter how faint. This test is the only test that when it's negative, it's freaking negative. Negatives will dry negative. No color. The other batch I received there are no hard outline when negative, it just won't show any color. Like the first batch I got, if you feel like you are seeing a pink line, let it dry, if there is one it will dry with a pink line. If in fact negative it will dry with no pink lines. I recommend Pregmate! I have used other brands of tests and some like wondfo will have nasty evaps and sometimes colored evaps which makes you think they are positives. I have had nasty indents with FRER or shadow lines ( line in the test line ), including Easy @ Home. Pregmate won't do this to you. At least, this has been my experience with this product. And need I say anything about blue dye tests lol, just save your money, get pink dyes. I have had so many heartbreaks with blue dyes so have a ton of other women, they are notorious for false positives, especially when faint. When you are super early and trying to squint through lines lol pregmate is pretty cut and clear. If you feel like you see something, then you see something. Let it dry, if indeed there it will dry with color. If you were just seeing things it won't have any line or a barely barely BARELY visible no color line IF that. Most test will dry with absolutely nothing, stark white or with test line barriers but no color if negative. ONE DRAW BACK: Do not use this test for progression. I would recommend FRER for progression or a blood work from your GP. Good luck ladies! Wishing you all the best on your journeys!

They Work
When I first purchased Pregmate’s pregnancy tests, I was using them as a means to calm my anxieties while on hormonal birth control (implant, then pill). I then ultimately switched to natural family planning as my husband and I crossed to a point where we would be okay if I wasn’t good at doing so; though we were not actively /trying/ trying. I’ll admit, there was a point where I began to wonder if they even worked at all. For such a great price for so many quick and easy to use test strips, I worried that I would get a false negative. Though it is now, years later since I began buying Pregmate that I can confidently circle back to confirm at 28 weeks pregnant that the tests do work and they are perfectly accurate (or at least as much as any gas station test). I will certainly continue to use Pregmate well into my family’s future.

Great for progression and early result!
These are pretty good. Picked up my positive at 9 dpo. Shows good line progression as well, honestly just as dark as clearblue early result pink dye. In this picture I am 12 dpo with a beta hcg of 67. I will say while I was ttc I did get a few indent and evap lines so just be aware. Don't read after 10 minutes if you don't see anything obvious there.

Lead to disappointment.
I’m not sure if people like this brand because of the quality … or because it’s a big brand with a cool app and they find it fun … but these strips are anxiety inducing ! I don’t know if it’s just the batch I got this time around but they had me thinking for 9 days I wasn’t pregnant. Clear negative. With every single one. For 9 days. And I just didn’t believe it. I told my husband “this doesn’t seem right ! Everything’s pointing to pregnant EXCEPT these strips!” So my husband went out and got me in store tests. I took the in store tests and these strips, in store = clearly positive! Bright and bold! These strips = still clear as day negative … now tell me how that makes any sense. So then I was like - ok maybe try taking these strips at different times of the day! I can see I’m pregnant so let’s just do an experiment! I took these tests in the morning, afternoon, night, middle of the night. All came back negative ! For days I did this. So. I definitely do not likes this. Thankfully I don’t need them anymore. But for the future I will stick to the other brand I get because these just come in a fancy bag with a fancy app … the strips are crap.

Accurate and Cheap.
**Update: Just so you know, the line won't be dark for a while. One of my pregnancy tests is still a somewhat faint line. Blood test performed on same day had my levels at 383 HCG. It took two more days to get a solid line, so assuming my HCG doubled in 48 hrs we can assume that for the solid line to occur you need at least 500 mIU/mL. So, just assume that's about where you're at if you have a solid line. Like many of you I have read the negative reviews and worried about the chances of false positives or negatives but can confidently say after using roughly 20 of the tests that they're accurate, with no errors. I am a laboratory technician and am familiar with testing QA. Following directions, I've found 20/20 (100% accuracy). I would also like to remind that a solid line in the "test" window but no line in the "control" window is NOT considered a positive, nor is it a false positive. It is an invalid test. Oversaturation is also another problem that I've seen. This test's result would also be considered invalid. You've got 3 seconds to leave the stick in your urine. Not 5. Not 10. Only 3. You also want to ensure that the urine does not exceed the "max" line which, again, would invalidate the results. Additionally, this is not a midstream test. Do not try and pee on the stick. That is not a valid way to perform the test and any results that show up should be considered invalid unless you perform the test properly. Anyways, it gave me a faint positive which has progressed daily to darker positive (not as dark as the control line but definitely obvious it's positive). I don't know when I ovulated (definitely not when I was supposed to--April 15th--since now I'm pregnant) but had sex April 8th and took first test on April 13th (appeared to be indent or evap line) with a faint positive appearing on April 14th. Have taken two every morning since. Expected period for me was supposed to be April 29th ("was" because I'm pregnant and it's probably not going to be the case right now, haha). My cycles are usually 44 days long with 3 days of light flow. Estimated ovulation date was April 15th, with fertile window beginning April 10th until April 16th. Looking at others whose HCG is in the hundreds with a darker faint leads me to believe that's about where I am. Did a test with just water and saw no evap or indent even after a bunch of days. Pictures to come. Hope this helps quell some of your fears about purchasing this test kit. Additionally: Here is my lot number with expiration dates so you can rest assured that if yours matches you should be getting at the minimum 98% accurate results. Lot Number: 101200303 Expiration Date: 2022-03-11 Remember ladies, there's always a chance for error. Tests work out to cost about $0.30/test (50 tests at $14.95). When in doubt test again. Good luck for whichever case you're hoping for (positive or negative.)
