Perfect cat door solution for renters!
I don’t have a dog or baby but found this product when I was looking for a cat door solution in my rental house. I keep my cat’s litterbox in a 4-season porch off my bedroom and needed a way for the cat to have access, but as the porch is mainly windows, wanted a way to keep my bedroom private/more temperature controlled. I also rent my house so I do not have the option of putting a traditional cat door in. The door buddy works perfectly for what I need! He can get to his litterbox, the door doesn’t have to be wide open, and I don’t have to worry about the door getting accidentally shut and preventing his access! It’s also super easy to unhook it to get in the room when I have to clean the box. My ONLY wish is that it came in plain white, black, or clear plastic. The pattern is OK but looks like baby supplies to me.

Great quality, simple product
Works exactly like it should, even with 2 teen boys and their rough handed father, the worst part was reminding them to latch it after using the bathroom. Still working over a year later

Keeps the dog out!
My cat's litter box and food is in a room where I didn't want the door open all the way constantly so instead of that with a baby gate I purchased this and it works like a dream. My dog can't get in there to eat the food or dig in the litter box and my cat has a space to escape. Installation was easy and quick! Very easy to unhook and hook back up.

SO GREAT!
We have a cat who loves being an only child and hates other animals. We have a dog staying with us for a couple of months. So I bought a couple of these to install on our bedroom and my office doors to create sanctuary spaces that the cat could come and go but the dog can not. Super quick and easy to install and works brilliantly. Very easy to open from inside or outside when humans needs to get though. I also love that the length is adjustable. I do find that over time the buckle slips creating a wider gap than desired, but it is very easy to just adjust it back to the desired length. The ONLY thing I would do differently is attach it via Command-like strips so we can take it down and put it up whenever we want to. CONSIDERATION: if you have a door that on its own likes to stay closed, as opposed to open, get the pack that has the bumper in it. That is a lifesaver for keeping the door ajar so the cat can paw it open more and get out.

Love it
This works exactly as it should, keeps my baby out of the cat stuff, and he cats from being mad at me. The only concern I have is when I gotta remove it if it'll take paint off and if I can use it at my next home.

Inexpensive problem solver
These things are wonderful. Keeps the Lab dog out of the kitty litter boxes, yet the cats can still access the boxes.

Beware door paint
It's a great idea and is very easy to use. Was perfect in the time it lasted. Unfortunately that was one month. We just got our dog about a month ago and used the strap to give our cats a safe space (and their little box.) My dog is a pretty solid pittie/basset mix and finally popped it open. The strap didn't fail but the paint on the door was ripped off. I hesitate to give it less than three stars because it did its job. Was more of a paint on the door sucks issue and now we can't reattach the sticky :(

Help so cats can't open doors!
I can't say enough positive about these door latches. I have purchased several for closet doors and two screen doors. My cats can slide open doors, but not when they are latched. So far, they are holding up secure on the walls. They slide, so I can tighten or loosen as needed. I do periodically check them to be sure they are secure.
