IPX8 Swimming Earbuds Bluetooth Wireless Sports Earbuds 8GB MP3 Earbuds Waterproof for Swimming

I have a hate/hate relationship with headphones. I have a small head, very small ear canals, and my ears are crooked. I stopped trying to swim with headphones because I had to wrap my head up in something to keep them from falling out. I have difficulty exercising because I can't keep the darned things on my head. I can wear some of the over-ear or on-ear styles, but those are terrible for anything that involves water or sweat. And then there's the issue with horrid sound, a combination of over-compression by the mixers and the various bass-boosting gimmicks used in the lower-end headphones. Give me screechless or give me death is the way I look at it.When I was offered these swimming earbuds at a discount in exchange for my honest review, I thought, well, I'll try one more time.... I was really doubtful they would work for me. (Normally I turn down anything with the word "earbud" in the description.) The only earbuds I've ever been able to wear are the new-Apple-style wired earphones, and even those fall out if I'm moving around. But it's what I've worn when working at my computer.But these! I am really surprised at how well they fit and stay put. I haven't even changed the earbud ends yet (they come with pretty large ones already installed) to the smaller ones, and these make good contact in my ears and emit some really nice sound. They aren't muddy, the stereo separation is excellent, and they don't cause the kind of listening fatigue that I experience with so many of the "boosted" headphones cause.I have not tested these in the pool yet because, well, they just closed the pool for the year! The IPX8 rating is perfect for my needs; I would have to work really hard to make myself sink to more than 3.5 feet, and we are prohibited from diving in our apartment pool. For regular swimming, the rating is more than ample. I essentially dog-paddle around in the pool for a half hour or so to get my heart rate up and to just move. (I'm in my sixties and certainly not athletic.)I'm loving the sound of these. I love early Collective Soul, and this handles the full range and dynamics of their music. Bluetooth connection to my MacBook Pro was flawless and quick, and now I just need to decide what range of tempos I want to put on the player itself for exercycling, dancing around the house, cleaning, working out on the elliptical, walking, etc. These earbuds also happen to be quite nicely packaged, have five different sizes of earpieces, and include a nice carrying case they fit into well. I received mine fully charged, and I haven't had to charge them yet.

So here is the deal: it is incredibly hot and humid outside, you are super hot and sweaty, but happen to have a swimming suit on and also just happen to be standing next to a swimming pool ... BUT you love music, one of your favorite songs is playing and you don't know what to do ... major crisis eh?!! Well, if you have one of these devices in your pocket - NO PROBLEMO !!! ... Just slip them over your ears and jump in the water without missing a note. ( What will they think of next ???)
