Mit dem Halter ist meiner Meinung nach das Navi am optimalen Platz angebracht. Man bedenke die Autohersteller nehmen ja für den Radio den Platz her der am besten zu erreichen und in der Regel am besten einzusehen ist. Der Halter ohne den Garmin spezifischen Gerätehalter würde reichen den der Gerätehalter ja mit dem Navi geliefert wird und der Kugelkopf passt immer, außerdem kann man das Teil auch einzeln erwerben. Somit könnte das Teil etwas günstiger werden. Der abgewinkelte Hals zum Kugelkopf könnte etwas höher ausfallen, damit die Bedienung für den Radio besser gewährleistet ist. Der Micro SD-Usb stick ist eine nette Beigabe. Was noch zu bemerken ist bei Radios mit abnehmbarem Bedienteil ist der Halt nicht 100% aber es hält. Deshalb nur 4 Sterne.

I bought this to use with my nuvi sat nav because I prefer full vision through my windscreen. Easy to fit in my cd slot and holds the sat nav firmly. Slight vibration on bumpy roads but not enough to be a problem. I would recommend this if you want an alternative to windscreen mount. I dropped 1 star because the memory card reader that came as a free gift was useless and fell apart on first use.

This unit holds my Garmin DriveSmart 65 just fine. The swivel works freely, to my taste, a little too freely, but then again, it does not seem to move on it's own, and does not seem to move when I touch the Garmin screen lightly, so I did not take off for this. I needed a replacement bracket for my unit, and this seems to meet the bill.
