Incredibly disappointed
The device arrived however after multiple attempts it was impossible to add the satellite to the router. For some reason the router was unable to recognize the satellite. Had to process a refund and return.

Not as good as expected
Setup was not as easy as I thought. It just seemed to come together when I had given up and I can't explain that.I have had to buy another satellite to get a decent setup snd use ethernet cable but I do have some problems in my house. I have underfloor heating on all floors of a townhouse which I think is the reason the mesh system struggles with, ie getting through all the pipes under the floor. The units look OK but maybe a bit bigger than you would hope for.For the price I expected much more and probably ly should gave tried other less expensive systems first. My WiFi is not as great as I would favr hoped but much much better with the system in place. It took some.time to get it right however.Couldn't recommend sadly evenv though its a Which? Best buy. That usually means a product is excellent.

Very competent mesh system
I bought these as I was moving from a 3 bed house that was CAT5e wired to a 6 bed house that had recently been refurbished and the prospect of chasing wires around the newly decorated house didn't do much for me. I got these as an interim solution whilst I lived in the house for a while and decided what would be the best option with regards to getting good network coverage everywhere. Now, I still think that a well set up wired system will beat any wireless system but this Orbi system comes very close to changing my mind. Essentially, a router and 3 satellite gets strong coverage all over a big house and well out into the garden. The best thing I can say about the system is that you never think about it, everything simply works. The only downside is Netgear's penny pinching when it comes to the security and parent controls. Having to pay for those features is taking the whizz!

Very disappointed with Netgear but the 750 is better than 850
I’ve really struggled with the Netgear Orbi. I started with the 850 but it was awful and I suspect one of the satellites was at least faulty because the overall coverage was terrible. For less than I paid for that system, I bought the 750 with an extra (3rd) satellite. It is much better and I’ve paid less overall. The only downside I can see is that the 750 has fewer ports on each device. Netgear support was terrible but I’d recommend the 750 over the 850 or just find a better product.

Excellent but expensive
We used the `Orbi satellite to extend the wifi in a large house with a business offie. It could hardly be more simple to install, adding it to an existing Orbi system. Wifi lept from an unstable single bar to a steady five bars in a matter of minutes. We would have given it five stars but for the price, which is very toppy.

Expensive but does the job as expected
After having multiple stability issues and poor coverage with my old system, An IT friend recommended Orbi.I got 1 router and 3 Satellites (RBS750 System). While this is an expensive solution, it is worth it during the lockdown times - with 2 people working from home, 3 college students, and a 2nd level student. The signal is excellent all over the house and works well with gigabit fibre to the home. Stability is also excellent.Overall an excellent system.
