Just two small reservations to this set
I do love to make desserts, and often, they require this trio of spices. However, they almost always require ginger as well, so I would have liked, if I were giving a set to someone else along with some recipes, to have ginger included, and make the set a quartette! My other reservation is the size of the holes in the shaker. I use cinnamon daily on my breakfast of yogurt and fruit, and these holes are so large that my bowl tends to be covered with almost a solid blanket of cinnamon. Lids that had a choice between spooning out the contents for a recipe, or sprinkling a fine dusting of the spice for a topping, would have been better. If you are using the spices for baking, you need to take off the top and spoon out the spice. So, the large holes don't help there. If they are meant to be a compromise, it's not a helpful one.Other than that, the spices seem aromatic when I smell them -- fresh and nicely packaged, along with a recipe.

Nice gift set of three great spices: cloves, nutmeg, and cinnamon
I love to bake; bake cookies, pies, cakes, etc. I use these three ingredients in so many of my baked goods. It is so important to have great spices to make you baked goods taste amazing! My family has a Tomato Soup Cake recipe that calls for all three of these spices. Once I made it and we kept getting bites of something that felt like sand. We later found that the nutmeg I used wasn’t ground fine enough. These spices are so finely ground, they are almost like powder. They work great in our spice cake. The cinnamon is so aromatic that the house smelled so nice when baking. The spices are packaged nicely, too. Each glass jar has a shaker top with a screw on top. They come packaged in a great box and includes a recipe card in the bottom. There’s also a QR code that takes you to more recipes online that use these three slices.Great spices make great baked goods. And my family agrees!

Fine....but kinda...pointless?
So we have a three spice 'set' here. It includes three that one might often find together in the same recipe. It's....fine. Honestly it's kinda hard to qualify the quality of dried spices....there's certainly nothing wrong or abnormal about them. Now, if nothing else the price is about what one would pay for these anyway. But for me, I tend to buy things when low on it, so having all three together is kinda not the most sensible, especially with no real cost savings. It honestly seems like more something one would give as a gift or something. In the end, you get kinda-pointlessly branded spices, that includes all of one recipe which doesn't even include all three spices (and a QR code with one that does). Can't say I would recommend.....but at the same time, I can't see a problem with it, if that makes sense.

Good quality, potent
A great gift for any chef, AllRecipes.com has made a little 3-pack of essential spices in a concise cardboard box. Cinnamon, Nutmeg, and Cloves won't last long in my house! Cookies, spice cakes, pies, savory breads, alfredo lasagna, applesauce, chutney, and more. As a bonus, there's a little recipe included in the box, under the spices (so be sure and lift the flap).Good quality, and you can smell them before you even take the plastic protector off the lid. Potent scents and great tastes. I used the cloves for Easter dinner, and my lasagna was fantastic. The holes in the lids are a little larger than I was used to, so always keep in mind when you shake out a new bottle. And always use more spices than the recipes call for! Spices are the spice of life!

A Perfect Trio-Mexican Style
This is the perfect trio for so many things, with a Mexican flair. Cilantro, cumin and fajita blend are essential to most all Mexican dishes, so you can't go wrong there.I use Allrecipes to search for great recipes and was not aware that they had started their own line of spices. The bottles are glass with the standard shaker plastic tops that almost all spices have. Each bottle does not measure 3 ounces- that is for all three combined. In fact, each of my three bottles ranges from .72 to .78 each. So altogether, you are getting three bottles that weigh about 2.5 ounces. They arrived in a very sturdy Allrecipes box- nothing was broken or shifted during shipment. I like the idea of trios and want to get the Italian next to add to my spice rack.
