This book is awesome and profound..., Maybe the most important book other than the Bible. I plan to re-read this book many times in my life... maybe at least once per year

Churches today seem to be nothing more than corporations. Let every saint read this book and may the Holy Spirit move each of us to action.

This was an unexpected book insofar as i did not expect the depth of thought found in this exposition on prayer as a church, the Lord's prayer and praying in the name of Jesus as our inheritance. It is written in easy language but is profound in thought. It is not a book to read without meditation. I have the kindle version which doesn't have any navigation to the book and it is annoying to me, but the book itself was worth buying and keeping for reference after the initial reading. Not too many glaring spelling errors either.

Just the book I need in this new place in my life. This is my new season of prayer on a higher level. This little power packed informative, instructional, and wisdom endowment is what I need. Thank you Watchman Nee. What a gift to the Body of Christ you are!

Enjoyed this book, yes the author is a little tough to read but the quality of what is being said makes it all worth it.

This book is a blessing to The Body of Christ, it helps to define the true meaning of the church which is to be a House of Prayer!! As The disciples of Christ ask him in Luke 11 "teach us to pray" and The Lord provided a model of prayer, this book is a replica of that. It doesn't just speak of the "what" but also of the "how."

Because an effective prayer life in the church allows God to do what he has perhaps been wanting to do for years. The Lord placed it upon our pastor's heart to choose it as the book of the year for our church. We therefore take the time, corporately on every 4th Sunday to study and understand its contents. The leadership in the church then provides practical opportunities to practice the biblical principles outlined in Dr. Nee's powerful book.
