I purchased this for my husband who doesn’t have use of his left hand. It’s been a lifesaver. I was cutting up his steak before, now he can do it himself. Very good quality, very sharp, and the design is great. Came with nice pouch for him to easily bring into a restaurant.

I've used ulus in my kitchen over the years and always stuck with the same, traditional Alaskan style (handle on top). When I saw this model, I was skeptical it would be as useful and looked more like a hunting knife than a daily cook's tool.I was wrong! This ulu is super sharp, hence the sheath, and easier to handle than my old standbys.Highly recommend for anyone's kitchen

Has a nice weight to it, is well made, fits nicely in the hand and is easy to use but I think it has lost a bit of it's sharpness over the past month, which surprises me.

It’s a very small knife and not easy to cut as I thought

After a bumper crop of winter squash and pumpkin, I was looking for a better way to scoop the seeds out of the large squash. I'm so glad I picked this one! This knife is small but mighty, I processed about 40 squash in nothing flat and this little knife saved my hand and wrist. The blade is super sharp and it stays that way even after repeated use. The small size makes it extremely nimble and versatile. I really like the the leather holder, it will prevent accidents when not in use, and it's very packable. Great for kitchen, camp or trail

This is one of the sharpest knives from Tivoli and the shape makes cutting through meat so easy. The extra length of the blade (flat part) is large enough to use as a slicer for doing Julienne slices. The hole is a bit small for my knuckle but i can hook easy with the tip of my finger. The large handle allows a strong grip if needed in self defense. This is a very large knife in a small package and can be used in self defense and in the kitchen. All of the pins are flush as well as the full tang handle. This is a beautiful knife of many uses. Biggest pro is my God it is sharp!
