Lovely quality finish and operation with enviably long guarantee - but not without 'minor' misgivings.
Beautiful handles, with lovely smooth handles and no sharp edges - both for comfort as well as longevity, as sharp edges encourage wear.Fantastic long guarantee period, but my only reason for not giving 5 stars is because the body is thin and has sharp edge to the backplate. Beautifully finished though, in typical URFIC style. When fitted, the sharp edges and thin body doesn't matter really, as you can't have it all, especially for the price (though hardly budget handles - but equally not hugely expensive either. A combination difficult to get right without affecting sales versus quality issues).I would recommend these handles, without a doubt, as I've bought them before. Very good value for such high quality, but the body, as I say is a little thin with sharp edges, and this is simply because they are actually 'pressed'! They aren't cast, and hence the solidity of the handles renders them 'thin'. They'd have to be in order to get into shape, but as I say, what's left and what how they process and apply the finishes is first rate - and hence their confidence in offering an enviably long guarantee. This is rare for door handles, but when fitted and operated you get a quality feel to them.It must be difficult striking the balance between what people are willing to pay, offering longevity and quality (hence the long warranty) , but not wanting to alienate would-be buyers by hiking the price to higher levels. But on balance I think URFIC have struck the right balance.Fort he reasons given I can't give 5 stars, for clearly they aren't top quality. How could they be for this excellent price? It would be wholly unreasonable to expect perfect for a middle of the road price point. But 'value' alone would be 5 stars - though I can't only rate fro this narrow viewpoint.

It is a lovely and smart door handle and looks good.
It was a replacement for a tarnished external door handle and looks the part. It came with brass fixing screws and the fixing holes in the door in the lined up with this new handle. Not the cheapest but it is certainly a high quality solid brass handle that I admire. Just took a very short time to fix. In my case no drilling holes.

Not straighforward to fit - you'll need some tools and some time and patience
I wanted to replace a 10 year-old bathroom lockset with privacy lock as the old one was worn out as well as broken. I checked the dimensions of this lockset as well as I could (I couldn't find a dimensioned drawing anywhere) and the sizing looked the same. Looking at the new set, it appeared nicely finished and quite heavy. I suppose any replacement fitting was going to have its problems but a job that should have taken half an hour ended up taking me 3 hours. First the screw holes weren't exactly the same so I had to redrill some of the existing screw-holes. The main latch spindle was OK for length as supplied but the smaller spindle linking the privacy lock components was way too long - by at least 35mm. That took two sessions with a hacksaw to get it right. After final assembly to the door, the door ended up permanently locked. I traced it to fouls between the thin inner plates that turn with the handle and the diameter of the privacy lock knobs. After contemplating taking the whole thing apart I realised that some judicious bending should fix it, and it did. It now seems to work OK and I'm happy with it, but any purchaser needs to be aware that you will need some tools and some time to do the fettling necessary to make it fit.

Beautiful Sheen but poor quality control
The satin nickel handles looked the part & initially I was pleased but it was frustrating to find half way through the installation job that there were screws missing & no way to order spare parts. Amazon helped with a refund but for the cost of an item which only does one door it’s poor quality control during manufacturing or despatch let it down. It would have been nice if the screws were slightly recessed too but it’s not a feature.

Quality guaranteed!
Compared to the similar items, it's a bit expensive, however, I'm very pleased with its overall quality (genuine brass with a splendid look & feel, robustness, etc.). Definitely worth the money!

Door handles. For opening and shutting doors
Here we have some curved-handled door handles, some may argue a little more decorative than straight edged versions. They work.
