Perfect Balance of Spice and Sweet
Brisket stands pretty well on it's own. I have used other rubs which have more of a pepper or onion base and then end up overwhelming. This rub was perfect balance of spicy, savory and sweet which did not overpower my meat (it sometimes does happen).

I tried this out on a Brisket smoked on a Trager. The taste was nice. I like trying new rubs and was not disappointed with this one.

Not for Beef Jerky
I made jerky for 20yrs and 1st try at dry rub because ad said was spicy. Was not spicy, had a paprika taste so my decision goes to chicken all the way on the BBQ grille
