Jetski repair
Good product. I used it to redo the foam on my jetski step. I put some dishsoap and water on the tubing and slid/wrestled this on it. Took some time but it looks sharp and feels good on barefeet.

Harley touring grips
These puppies work better than the name brand foam grip covers. The long piece will last you for years. Use scissors to cut, a compressed air blow gun to install it, just pinch the outside end of the foam over the compressor tip, inflate with air and slide them on.My FLHTK has heated grips and the heat comes through just fine. The foam has more of a smooth surface than name brand covers and doesn't absorb water in the rain like they do.I can't think of any cons.

Good for lawnmower handle
I used this to replace the rotting foam on my lawnmower handle. I measured the handle diameter at 22 mm so that was the inner diameter I ordered. The tubing came flattened and rolled up but once it was on the handle it was fine. I cut the tubing to the right length, and partly disassembled the handle to free up one end and remove a part that was in the way. I stripped off the old foam and cleaned up the handle with 90% isopropyl alcohol. Then I splashed more alcohol on the handle and poured some through the tubing to act as a lubricant. The tubing slid on easily. Then I replaced the part and re-attached the handle end. At first the tubing still was pretty mobile but after a few hours the alcohol had evaporated and the tubing was snug. It seems more durable than the original foam.

Perfect fit for Schwinn Airdyne
Exactly what I need, at a very reasonable price. Remove old grip, spray tube and inside new grip with a little soapy water and slide into place. After the water dries, grip is as good as new.

Great product, permanent creases from being folded
This tubing insulation is just what I needed to give new life to my tripod. The foam pipe insulation I had around it before was starting to disintegrate and was looking shabby. This foam tubing isn't like the foam insulation for water pipes. It's more like neoprene material, except without the outer fabric layer. It really does insulate (more on that later) and provides a nice grippy surface to hold onto. The only problem is the way it is folded, presumably for shipping. The tubing was shipped in a plastic envelope and was folded twice leaving three creases. These creases are permanent and unsightly. It ruins an otherwise beautiful covering. I tried using the same methods of removing creases from neoprene—pouring boiling water over the creases and inside the tube. Even with boiling water inside the tube, I could comfortably hold the outside of the tube, verifying the insulation performance. While the boiling water relaxed some of the smaller creases, the deep creases stayed. Even after letting it sit for 24 hours, the creases remain.A note on installing. These tubes are bit snug to keep them in place. This tube's ID is 28mm. My tripod leg is 28.1mm. The tubing will stretch a little, maybe ±1mm. Carefully measure the round part where you plan to install this, preferably with calipers. To install them, DO NOT USE any sort of petroleum lubricant such as WD-40 or grease. The tubing will slip and not stay in place if you do. To help slide it onto whatever you're mounting this on, use 91% rubbing (isopropyl) alcohol. DO NOT USE ethyl alcohol. Clean the surface where it will go with the alcohol, then pour some inside the tube and swish it around. While it's still wet slip the tube onto the surface. The alcohol gives just enough lubrication to allow the tube to slip. If tube starts to stick, lift up an edge and pour a little bit more alcohol inside. The alcohol will eventually evaporate and the tubing will stick to the surface and stay in place. For the product, I give it 5-stars. For how they store and ship it, I give them 1-star, so overall, 3-stars.
