I love this leash but I returned it. The hardware is just too large and heavy for my 30# dog. I was concerned about it bumping into her and causing an injury. I am ordering the smaller Lite version instead. Feels really good in your hand. I hesitated a long time before replacing my old leash because I couldn't find one nearly as nice. The leashes I see in pet stores are just awful! This one is much nicer!

First I bought a black one for our Scottish Terrier pup for use at home. Liked it so much I bought another for the car and office. Got drunk and left the car one at my mother in law’s house (I wasn’t driving). Just bought a third to replace the misplaced one. They feel very nice in hand and even more so after hitting them with a little leather conditioner. After about nine months of daily use the first one is actually better than new because it’s broken in and even better to use now. Have seen complaints of funky smells but did not experience any untoward aromas. If I had to come up with a complaint, the leash did have a bit of a bend in it out of the package that took a little longer to work out than I thought it would, but it in no way affected the comfort or performance. Buy? Yes!

I ordered a black leather leash and got a brown one. Returned it and ordered another. And got another brown one! Emailed the company and explained and they immediately sent a replacement leash in the black that I wanted - and gave me two dog toys - for free! Very happy with the leash - good quality leather. I would buy from Mighty Paw again.

I needed a new 5 ft lead/leash for my dog and have always had the woven fabric strap kind...thought this might be kind o cheesy leather because of the price but it's fantastic...thick, aniline dyed, beautiful leather leash to go with all my dog Mabel's cool ornamented leather collars!

What I love just about this leash is that it is not stiff at all. It’s a soft leather it is very durable. Perfect length too. Wish they came in colors. Walk my 62 lb my 13 lb dog on this leash.

This is a well made leather leash at a great price. Bought it for a German Shepard. I highly recommend it and will be buying another for my Rottweiler.

This is my second purchase of these leashes and collars as I have adopted another dog that is 100lbs. Very sturdy and easy to buckle. The leather is soft but not too soft. Comfortable to hold and the chain releases quickly after redirecting the dog.

Liked color feels more natural than nylon

The stitching and general build quality of this lead is excellent. Highly recommended worth waiting a week and a half to get the shipping from the US and the price was fair. Wish I had bought a collar as well maybe next time I'll get both.
