SHARP, comfortable in the hand, balanced, fun.
I love this knife. It's significant and weighty so if you're looking for a small conceal knife, this isn't it. This is heavier than most, built like a tank, opens swiftly and is sharp as a razor. Beware! EVERYONE I show this knife to loves it. It feels very balanced in the hand. The handle is wide and well perforated for a good grip. The pocket clamp may bother some as far as the grip goes but I've found it's not an issue for me. Also, the clamp's point sticks out quite a lot. This may cause you to brush up against something and scratch it. Be careful. The blade itself is, as you can see by the picture, large. The point is sharp and the blade is dangerously sharp - which is great. I carry this with me all the time and its a great knife for slicing through boxes, rope etc. . It will fill a good portion of your front pocket if that's where you carry, so a holster may not be a bad choice for this. Fun knife - recommend!

Better than I ever could of expected!
On arrival I instantly noticed how well manufactured the knife was. It looked absolutely fantastic and the colors really stood out on the red bearing covers and on the back spacer. The knife weighs ALOT less than I expected and after comparing it to a few other knives I have, I definitely noticed how significantly lighter it is then other knives that are even smaller then this one is! That being said however, the weight is PERFECT. It has a fantastic balance in your hand and thanks to the big groove for your hand to go, it feels fantastic to hold onto. The grips are just as aesthetically pleasing as they are practical and great feeling in the hands. The edge on this knife was ridiculously sharp and It became apparent very quickly when I went to slice open another amazon package just to realize I already sliced through the whole packaging with 0 resistance given back. For the price tag this is 100% the best knife in the market for those looking for a solid go to EDC knife. Not sure how well the grooves on the handle will help you hold onto the knife if it gets wet from rain, spillage, etc. but I have no doubt in my mind that they thought about that as well and the grooves serve as a way to redirect the water elsewhere allowing you to grip the knife better!Would 100% recommend to anyone and everyone and I will be purchasing a second one soon to put on display from how gorgeous it is to look at!!

Sharp, balanced, great weight distribution!
This knife exceeded my expectations! Well balanced, sharp af, good weight to it and locks securely. All in all, a great quality knife. Honestly, now that I have it in my hands, I would've paid more for it, that's how good it is.

Not terribly bad
I've had previous CJRB knives, and a few were complete headaches, and some were right on the top of the list. Thus far I have found this is one on the top of the list. The design is comfortable in your hand and its balance if workable. The blade comes sharp but be prepared to hone the edge after its first couple of uses. The weight is on the heavy side but not a deal breaker if you are looking for a pure functional knife. With the weight, probably not something I'd carry around as a typical EDC. But that doesn't mean it isn't worth carrying. Takes some 'breaking in' initially as this one came through a little stiff. A little bearing oil and manipulation and it works fine. Durable, practical, and functional for most uses. Overall? If you are looking for the type knife that is heavier than most, I'd say you cannot go wrong and you certainly won't be disappointed.

Great big knife
Very sturdy knife. Handles great for size. Was shipped very quickly and professionally by store. Look forward to doing business with them in the future.

I got a second one
I consider myself a bit a pocket knife enthusiast. I got this one to replace a similar style Gerber that I had lost (I lose them as often as I buy them) I break down boxes and have to open plastic packaging a lot at my job so I can be pretty hard on a blade sometimes.I initially liked the handle feel. Doesn't feel like cheap plastic like most knifes. Bearing style opening is smooth. Blade is stupid sharp and it's still holding it's edge. I have only been able to use it for about 3 weeks or so. I got it early November and had "lost" it mid December. Well I found it today, in the yard, after the snow had melted. It was under the snow and ice(6°f at one point) for at least 2 weeks. Thing still opens smooth and shows no signs of abuse at all. Still looks like it did when I got it.My only gripe is it's a little too easy to open. I had it clipped on my pocket and I bumped it and the blade opened without me knowing. Ended up cutting myself.

The balance bird of knifes
Do you remember those birds that were weighted at the beak and you could rest them on the tip of your finger and they would balance there like they were floating? This knife is the balance bird for men and women who like a functional excellence. Is it big? yes. Does it flip open nicely? Yes. Does it look like a velociraptor decided to make a knife? Yes. This thing is just plain cool. I’m a huge fan of white and the red accents are a perfect color combo. I do wish they wouldn’t have coated the knife blade but beggars can’t be choosers. The only thing that would have made this knife even better for me was if it had an axis lock with thumb studs. But again the frame lock works exactly as it should. It has some heft so when you deploy the knife you’ve got to give it a little extra flipping power but dang the noise it makes when the frame lock engages sounds awesome. I’ve never owned a knife by CJRB but it looks like I’m going to start exploring other knifes in their line up. I’m a fan. Buy the knife and thank me later.

Love this knife
Knife is awesome. I carry it everyday. The blade holds up good to everyday use. It holds an edge pretty good easy to sharpen as well. I love the black blades but it scratches and stuff so I’d stick with reg silver blade. It was a little expensive but over all great knife and I’d recommend it to anyone that loves knives or wants to carry one for self defense it’s very smooth opening as well. Good size for self defense.
