Pretty small. Difficult to use.
These are 1 inch long with two holes drilled straight through for Paracord. You're supposed to make a necklace or a toggle out of them do they're available in an emergency. I've used a lot of Ferro rods over time, and the ones I get the best sparks from ones I can get a good grip on, and are three inches or longer. I tend to need some clear length to scrape off a good deep, sparking bit off of these. So, I don't really know how practical these are. Great idea, but pretty short to grip and do any real scraping on them. You might get a fire going if you carefully scrape a pile of unburned shavings into your tinder, and then spark that.Anyway, I'd go with something longer.

Never rub 2 sticks together again.
I put these little guys on every shoe, the right shoe. Always have shoes. I will never rub two sticks together for a fire. These also make great stocking stuffers for all my non-prepper buddies, because they don’t want to rub to stick together either.
