Starting to replace the aging TZ-400s and these new TX-470's are amazing. Didn't have any issues getting it configured and installed. Works great for my client.

Buyer needs to note this is base firewall only, if you want the anti-virus, and other services you need to license them separately. For 3yrs Advanced Protection Service Suite - that is about £2000 extra on top of the unit cost. That said, if you are serious about security, and want deep packet inspection that can do pretty close to line speed at 1Gbps, its worth it. My only gripe with it, is you need to be professional network engineer to install it, get it licensed, and configured, not to mention screen with 1920x1080 resolution to see the GUI completely. But for what it is, as feature complete, professional router and firewall - it does it very well IMHO. For firewall throughput, the TZ470 beats the Cisco C1161-8P hands down, and that is the top ISR Cisco does before getting into silly money for ASR.

I have purchased 15+ Sonicwall TZ series devices from SerenIT for my clients and have never had an issue with them. They are all brand new and I am able to register them without a problem. I normally do the secure upgrade plus program which is a good value. Thanks for making Sonicwalls available at a very competitive price.
