AtomosShinobi 7" 4K HDMI/SDI Monitor

Worth the upgrade. I knew I wanted a larger monitor for my rig, one with output capability too. Previously I was working with a cheapo $90 monitor, bargain basement, but it did what I needed it to. I decided to upgrade but wasn't ready to pay this price, not if I could avoid it. I decided to go with some off brand product that seemed similar enough, but to my dismay it was worse than the $90 one, only for $300. I returned it promptly and decided to try the Shinobi instead. We'll worth it. The picture quality is outstanding, there's tons of easy to use features, and you can customize so much without losing valuable screen real estate. Colors are accurate and the brightness doesn't lead me to misjudge my exposure choices after getting everything set in camera. It feels nice and sturdy too, none of that cheap plastic feel. It does everything I need and more. Excellent purchase.

Really Nice Monitor... but had to return it. Everything about this monitor is REALLY NICE except mainly one thing. The fans are LOUD. Even in the "QUIET MODE" that you can switch this monitor too... if you have a on camera Mic, it WILL still pick up the fan noise. I really hated to return it because this monitor is so beautiful. But gonna go pick up the Shinobi 5" instead. It's fanless and will work better for my needs. So if fan noise is something that doesn't bother you or you have a workaround for it like All mics off camera away from the Shinobi 7. Then You are GOOD. The size is a little cumbersome but totally not a deal breaker.

I have been using this monitor for a month now, and I love it. It plays back 4K60 and 4K120 FPS which is what I needed. I film many outdoor weddings, and sometimes it's hard to see what you are viewing on sunny days, but that's not an issue with this monitor. I highly recommend it if you are in the market for a monitor and the appropriate price point.

I recently picked up the Atomos Shinobi 7-Inch 4K HDMI HDR Photo and Video Monitor and I'm really impressed! The image quality is fantastic and the controls are very intuitive. The monitor is the perfect size for carrying around with you on shoots and it's very lightweight. Overall, I'm really happy with my purchase and would highly recommend this monitor to anyone looking for a high-quality, affordable option.

Incredible monitor to get

Power supply died after 4 months and only 20 times using. Atomos fixed it but made me pay for shipping to get it repaired which is super lame because it was under warranty and a manufacturer defect.

I had to return it because it overheats every time I turned it on. Still waiting for my refund and they received the item a week ago. Not great costumer service 😞

Compared on the existing bright pro monitors like the SmallHDs and Osee G7, this is a better deal with both SDI & HDMI.You might want to get a cage alongside this puppy.
