Just what I wanted

I would just want to emphasize how great this product is. I’ve had it on my expensive iPhone for almost a year and a half. I always safeguard our many different devices’s screens with Supershieldz. My fam gives me a hard time because they can’t use a new device until I put a screen on. My family members drop, bump, throw, whatever, their devices’ and so far none have had a broken screen. Well yesterday I dropped my phone onto the edge of a thick glass table and it landed on the floor. 😳 When I picked up the phone it looked damaged with a crack already spreading. I was thinking I’m going to have to take my phone in pronto and the $$ I was going to have to spend to fix it. Well, I looked at my phone closer, and realized the screensaver was what was broken and cracking. I didn’t want to take the Supershielz off until I had a new one. In less than 24 hrs ( thanks Amazon !! ) I received my new one. Just the screensaver was smashed and my phone’s glass was saved !! Whew. This is worth the money. It’s not that complicated to put on. If you do have questions...go to the website listed in the instructions and view the informative video. I have a lot of ‘important things’ ( to me ) in my phone but thanks t o t a l l y to this product I can proceed with the rest of my weekend !! Thanks !! :)

I’ve only had it for a day so I can’t speak to longevity. There is a hinge method using tabs to make it easier to install.

I don't usually review, but I've been trying to find a nice glass cover for my iphone 7 for a while. There was another company that I used in the past and they were good but went under. This one fit my iphone 7 perfectly. It is precisely cut for this phone and is centered perfectly. Just an FYI, this glass cover will be slightly smaller than the actual glass display because the glass display is curved and if you try to cover the curved part, it will lift off the glass and create an area where dust and dirt will go in. It will also create a fragile part on the screen. This is not the glass cover but rather an issue with the iphone. Unless you go with a plastic cover (and even those are shorter), you'll have to go slightly smaller. Nevertheless this screen covers exactly the width of the actual LED screen on the iphone 7. Touchscreen works perfectly, I've not had any issues with touch and the clarity is perfect. Very clear and can't tell there's a cover on it when you're using it. I've had no issues with adhesion - it stays on and doesn't lift off. I keep it in my pocket all day and not one edge has lifted in weeks of using it. I didn't have any bubbles, although I did make sure I used it in a dust free area and any dust that got under the display, I used the large tacky tape they included to remove it and reattach. I can't imagine any glass protector being any better than this one. Good stuff!

I trust this brand completely. I have had 2 screen protectors from this brand. The first was for my iPhone se. I dropped that phone down a flight of concrete stairs twice in my dorm building and not a crack. It finally cracked after I dropped it off my lofted bed (but my phone was 100% okay). I also have supershieldz on my iPad and luckily haven’t had to test the durability on that. With that being said, this was only brand I would buy for my new iPhone. These are very easy to install. The instructional videos online help a lot too if you get confused. BE WARNED: this screen protected will NOT cover the whole screen. The edges are rounded on the iPhone 8 and this protected does not cover the rounded edges. Upon researching, supershieldz does have a full coverage tempered glass that may cover the rounded edges that I will be looking in to purchasing. Pros: -easy to install -durable -do not get air bubbles or discoloration marks over time as with some protectors -amazingly affordable Cons: - doednt cover the rounded edges, leaving the edges of the screen vulnerable to breakage
