MagBak: Minimalist iPad Mount, iPad Pro, Dark Grey

Really enjoy these magnets for the ipad pro 12". they are very strong. and hold it perfectly. Advice would be to make sure and use the template exactly. Only reason not 5 stars is that where ever you put the magnets they are the permanent so choose wisely. Wish they were removable but I still like the product.

Phenomenal Product.

This mount is pretty great. Two magnets attach to the back of your iPad. They are thin and made of a grippy rubbery material. There's also a little ridge at the edges to help with grip. The magnets connect to rare earth magnetic strip bars that you attach wherever you want to mount the iPad. I wanted this to use my iPad in the kitchen. So the magnets on the iPad are strong enough to secure the iPad to my fridge. And I put the magnet bars on one of the shelf doors. This way I can see the iPad wherever I am while cooking. The kit comes with a template (for 9.7 and 12.9 iPads) for placing the magnet strips on your iPad correctly, as well as a small tube of primer and alcohol wipes for placing the magnet bars.The one thing that's keeps this from being a 5 star review is that you basically are given 1 mounting option with the magnetic bars. Maybe if the kit came with more than 1 set it'd make up for it.

14. The MagBak is a neat way to mount your iPad where you want it to stay. It uses two adhesive magnets that you place on the surface where you want to mount the iPad. You place two strips on the back of the iPad and the adhesive magnet strips on the surface. Be careful where you place the magnetic strips because they are very hard to remove and they are not re-position able. The instructions are very clear and there is a template to help you position the strips. I gave it 4 stars because it is not easy to remove.

I hate having the iPad on the counter as I cook from a recipe, even in a holder it is stressful to not get it ruined. I used this to mount it on the cupboard door above the counter I use to bake, IT IS SO NICE to have it out of the way. I put a piece of clear cling film over my iPad screen so I can scroll through the recipe with gungy fingers. It works great and frees up work top space.

The MagBak works as described. I had no problem applying it, and once applied it allowed my tablet to stick to my fridge so I could refer to recipes or watch video while cooking. The magsticks stick to it very well, too, but I have yet to dedicate any space to those. You only get a set of two, and I'm still not sure where I'd like to be able to stick my tablet that isn't already metal and therefore fine with just the MagBak itself.I liked that the kit came with alcohol wipes and a sort of surface primer. Not all products of this type include those nice add-ins, and it was a pleasant surprise.The MagBak strips are lightweight, and they're great as a little additional grip on the back of the too!Bottom line: Easy to apply, works well, and doesn't add any significant bulk to your tablet. Worth it! Five stars!

I was skeptical. And nervous. I'm going to hang my $1000 iPad Pro (12" model) on these two skinny magnets?No way.Of course, I did... and it WORKED!!I did have a plan involving a couple of fluffy blankets and a pillow or two. Call me careful.I installed using the marginally acceptable instructions and mounted the magnets to my iPad Pro as directed. Allowed things to settle and bond then gave it a try. I was a little nervous but was quickly impressed by the sheer power and holding strength of these magnets! What was more impressive is the amount of effort it took to remove the iPad from its mount. VERY sturdy!!I highly recommend using these MagBak iPad mounts!

Everyone in my family are Samsung users... except my one son who has stayed local with his parents. Just because of that I forgive his penchant for Apple Products. He is now working on his K12 California Teaching credential, and masters in education from Point Loma satellite University here in town. To say I am proud of him is a huge understatement. So when the Vine Program offers me items to help him out, I am always happy to get them for him. The one thing about tablets of all kinds, is they are difficult when in bed or other convenient times to uses them. This mount makes it easy to put the tablet on the night stand and utilize when laying down. He is very happy with it and uses it every night. Good product, with practical application. Recommended.
