I bought this so I can quickly do my hair. I have alot of hair that is fine, and just passed my shoulders. I can leave home with towel dried hair and 'blow' it dry with the car's vents. If I get stuck at the long light by my work, I can pull it into a ponytail, clip it and stuff it in the snood, and still get compliments from my coworkers. All in the space of less than 20 min. If I make the light then I put it up in the parking lot and it's closer to 15 min. I can see where if one's hair is super long or thick it may not work. ( I doubt it would work in any of my 5 adult daughter's hair) I dont try to fit all my hair in the clip, just a portion above the elastic, which holds it in place. Love the basic colors.

Bought for my granddaughter as she needs to keep her hair up and in a bun at work. Her hair is almost waist length and very thick and these accommodated it which was a surprise to both of us. She's so happy not having to use 6 bobby pins!
