Excellent CPU cooler for an LG1633 processor
Performs quite well and solved all of my overheating problems. Slightly hard to install because you have to put a new bracket behind the motherboard, meaning you have to take it out, but the results are worth it.

Great Quality, Performance, and Price ...
This $17 Intel LGA1366 Heatpipe Heatsink Cooler is built very well and performs like more expensive enthusiast units. Idle temps ranged 37-43 C. Stability testing temps stayed below 72 C (Calc Pi upto 128M digits using 4-16 threads, and intel linpack). I used Arctic Silver 5, instead of the included whitish thermal paste. My Dad's Studio XPS 9100 Dell system was throttling/shutting down, the stock (POS) intel heatsink for this i7-930 cpu has a very cheap plastic mounting base, which cracks from heat stress over time. This Intel DBX-B should have been stock for all intel CPUs with this socket - it has a sturdy metal base and much better cooling. Oh, and it has a cool blue LED lit fan.

Simple installation, immediate results
My Dell 435T / i7-940 was throttling under full load with the stock cooler running full blast. That's probably what contributed to the death of the stock cooler fan, which I had to yank with failing bearings. The DBX-B was a fairly easy replacement, though I had to pull the motherboard and replace the stock retainer bracket with the Intel bracket. It fits perfectly but no longer bolts to the inside of the case, which gives me slight pause because the DBX-B is a fairly heavy rig and pulls on the vertically-mounted motherboard.I cleaned out the ugly Dell thermal paste job (no wonder it was running hot!) and applied Arctic Silver 5 according to all of Arctic's directions, including tinting the processor cap and the heatsink pad. Now I'm running 20 °C below throttle under full load, and that's before the Arctic has even broken in. I have the DBX-B on the Performance setting and the fan is noticeable, though not bad. I will probably switch it to the Quiet setting next time I go into the case.

Great quality fan for socket 1366
Ordered from Parts Collection USA, arrived very quickly, great seller. This fan is just right for a 1366 motherboard and comparable in size to the Arctic a11/i11 but with four heat pipes. The heat sink is the size of a stack of 2.5in hard drives. The fan lights up blue. I ordered this instead of a competing 1366 cooler because I didn't have a stock backplate and some budget coolers from Deepcool and other brands required it. This one is just the right fit. I mounted this in a vertical orientation so it exhausts through the top of the case and you can see the Intel logo clearly through the side window of the case.

Works great and very easy installation
Bought as a CPU fan upgrade for a Dell XPS 9000 PC. Works great and very easy installation. CPU temps are about 10 degrees F cooler as measured by Coretemp software (freeware).

Great product!
Pursed this for an old i7 920. Idle temps hover around 35C as opposed to the previous 50C with a cheap aftermarket cooler. Great product!
