The price and its 2 in a box
Why did you pick this product vs others?:They are very effective for the price. 2 and I'm blown away. Both lamps work and works great. I needed one and for the price I couldn't pass this up. I have a 600 dollar 400 watts though but the price compared to these i wish I would've seen this first. I put it in a small tent as these are o ly 200 watts but as you can see in my picture they work very good. I like them and would highly recommend them. I getting more as I set up more grow tents

Excellent value, good quality, and plants love it
I bought 10 of these primarily for an outdoor greenhouse, but have been using two of them over the past two months as an indoor grow light in a tall cardboard box once cucumbers and tomato plants got to be over 6 inches tall. I found a group pretty rapidly with this grow light within one to 2 feet above them, within a 1 1/2 ft.² foot print/box. As they grew to over 1 foot even when they got to be within 3 to 6 inches of the light it didn't seem to burn them. Cucumbers seem to love the intensity even when they get up real close, but my tomatoes seem to start getting some browning when they get that close.I like that of power cables have a switch makes it more convenient. You can tell that these are better quality power modules because they have separate power boxes on the back of each one. They are super bright no way you can look at them without burning your eyes. I'm hoping when I install them in my big greenhouse that the plants still like them enough from 2 feet away.

You may want to buy two!
These are Great lights fror indoor plants to supplement daylight and draw very little wattage compared to traditional grow lights. But they appear bigger in the picture than reality. I needed to installl TWO of them to cover a 6'X3' surface with plants.

Great grow lights
Wow, these are great!!I bought a bare root fig tree and placed it in a southern window, no growth until I bought these lights.Apparently the window have a UV coating which blocks the light that my fig tree needed. My fig tree came to life with these lights.I live in Zone 4, so limited growing season.

Not very bright. Only 13K lux @ 2"
These are very basic and not very bright. This is just a thin board with some leds, and a rubber bumper around it. They only put out about 13k Lux at 2" away. There are much cheaper options that will do this. I thought these would be much brighter. I don't know how they say these would cover a 4'x4' area. Not near enough light.

Awesome purchase
I am not going to lie... I absolutely love these lights. They are super bright, and my lettuce LOVES them. I rushed to buy two more sets. I have been using them on wire racks and with a timer. It's the perfect set up.

Just Don't !
Shoulda known by the vague info on the product page that these were gonna be toy lights. If you are growing a couple succulents in 3 inch diameter 3 inch high containers, or a single head of lettuce, these might be worth your time and $46. Otherwise keep looking. The 200 watts it claims, is actually the LED to incandescent equivalency, I doubt it actually attains such lofty heights. My camping headlamp puts out more lumens than these panels do. Seriously. One of the reviews claimed to get a meter reading close to 2000 lumens - I politely suggest that person double check their meter is functioning properly because I doubt these lights are that strong. (remember bright to look at is very different from actually casting light that is bright when seen from the direction of the fixture , itself)The description also gives the impression you can switch settings to control which color LEDs are on, but that is not the case, it is simply all on or all off.The product page and package labeling claim there are IR LEDs in the panel, every LED is labelled "W", "B", "R", or "UV". Not a single one is labelled "IR", nor do any of the LEDs appear to be off when the unit is turned on (typical with IR lights since they are technically outside the visible light spectrum). Therefore I am left to presume that there are in fact no IR LEDs in the unit, which was one of the light spectrums I specifically wanted them to have. The lights are sold and described as being for gardens and perfect for grow tents, BUT they are not even IP65 rated , they are IP20 rated - that second number, the '0' - yeah, that means ZERO protection against moisture and water. So don't use these on any plants for which you use a mister, or foliar feeding system, nor in a room with a humidifier, and certainly not where you hose spray your plants. And that "2" number, stands for protection against solids. At a "2", you better hope you never kick up any dust or dirt - like when re-potting, or topping up soil for older plants. Why ? Because there is literally nothing protecting the LEDs from anything - even regular dust accumulation. Fortunately they do not draw much electrical power, because they are not grounded - so when they get wet, or LEDs start to fritz because dust got into the connections, you are at risk for getting shocked if you touch the unit while it is on. (REally , who thinks ungrounded electricity is a smart choice in the often wet environments of of garden spaces/rooms/tents?Are they small? at 1 foot square, yes, they are. They are also extremely thin and lightweight. All good qualities. The stated specific lightwave frequencies are also desirable - especially that 390nm UV-B light. They just are not powerful enough and the light fixtures are not actually made for, or suitable for the application for which they are being marketed.Maybe it's okay for countertop hydroponics. If that is what you need a light for, place these about 5-6 inches overhead and you might get good results. Otherwise, Just don't.
