EXCELLENT strings
I use these exclusively on my 1954 National, and they give the best sound by far out of all the options I've tried. If you've got a vintage player, give these a try!!

Fantastic quality and excellent tone
I had always used phosphor bronze on my older dreadnought Guild D-40, little did I know I was depriving my guitar of better strings! I've been trying different strings (Elixer's, D'Addario, Martin, Dunlop, etc.) and have found most strings too 'bright' for the old big mahogany dreadnought.Immediately I was very happy I switched to these nickels after the first strum. My first impressions were that these strings are WARM and have a great retro sound. They have a balanced tone and have plenty of depth in all ranges. These strings really have an 'older' sound to them and make your guitar sound more like the one's you hear in older acoustic guitar recordings. These are really a joy to play.I highly recommend try these strings if you have a older dreadnought or mahogany acoustic.

Brings out the mahogany nicely and emphasizes the natural
Used on a 60's Guild M20. Brings out the mahogany nicely and emphasizes the natural, deep sound of the wood. I'll probably buy them again but try them on my dread instead. The M20 sounds the best with super dead elixers.
