Sturdy
This suitcase has held up to the abuse of the airport handlers. However I should have bought a black one. The red shows the scuff marks.

Super easy to maneuver
I don't travel often, but when I do this luggage is amazingly simple to maneuver. I used to be so frustrated at the airport, hotel, etc. because my luggage was difficult to use. I love the 360 degree turns this luggage makes. And the large piece is huge.........you can pack a lot of items due to the size and all the extra pockets.

Surprisingly Durable
I have to admit, when i got this bag i was a little skeptical. It is very lightweight, and of course that means there is not much in the way of a heavy frame. I took this bag on a lengthy trip to South East Asia on 7 separate flights on 5 different airlines and the bag came through undamaged. There were of course the normal marks and wear from the baggage handlers, but the bag held up fine.A few things about this bag. I bought it because it was very light weight since the airlines are becoming more and more finicky with weight restrictions. It is indeed very light, however it is quite large. I realized that when completely filled it is almost certainly heavier than most airlines weight restrictions, which kind of defeats the purpose of the lighter luggage. In retrospect i might have chosen the medium sized spinner since my goal was to stay under the weight limits. For most of my trip the bag was only about 2/3 to 3/4 full. Because of this the bag usually came down the conveyor looking pretty smooshed (since there is a very lightweight structural frame inside). The bag however popped bag into shape just fine and there was no deformation to the bag. When fully packed this would not be an issue. The bag rolled just fine, and when it wasn't fully loaded i made sure most of the weight in the bag was at the wheeled end of the bag to keep it from being unruly or top heavy. The wheels, zippers, and handles all held up great, especially considering all of the schlepping into and out of taxis, hotels, and airports.Overall I'm very happy with this bag. If weight is your priority tho, the larger bag may be counter productive, but then you're a grown up and you can decide for yourself what works for you and your preferred airlines

AMAZED!!
We love this set!! It’s unbelievable how much space is in them! We’ve gone on vacations and would prefer to use this set instead of our other set!

Good carry on for travel on small planes
Works pretty well. The material is thick and sturdy, but it's flexible enough to squish as needed to put in the tiny overhead bin on small planes (regional props and turbo props). If you fill it to capacity, you probably couldn't do that, but it would probably still fit on some smaller planes and would be no problem on a larger turbo prop or a real jet! I didn't put it under the seat, but am certain it would fit. The handles fold flat or to the side, so they don't interfere with storage like stiff handles on some other carry on ("boarding") bags I considered. I thought the shoulder strap was good, but we ended up just not using it. Zippers seem good, and easy to add a lock. The big U shaped opening in the top is great. This is obviously a lot smaller than "standard" roller-bag carry ons, but since we have to travel on the smaller planes, those roller bags can't go on (they get "gate-checked"). I hated worrying about the gate-checking (and once, the airline LEFT OUR GATE-CHECKED BAGS ON THE TARMAC and it took until the next day to get them), so I wanted something I knew I could carry on pretty much any plane. This lets us carry on the most important/valuable stuff without worrying about gate-checking. We also use a very small roller carry on with other stuff that sometimes still gets gate-checked, but I'll no longer put anything valuable in it. We carry small daypacks as our personal item, where we carry all meds, ID, etc., but this Samsonite Xlite is good for cameras, Kindle/iPad, chargers, spare glasses, and other valuable stuff that's too big for the "small personal item" pack, plus our "toiletries" zip-locks and some underwear/socks just in case of delays/lost luggage, or left-on-the-tarmac bags!

Update... larger than 22x14x9 ... So not the Perfect carry-on bag for me like I thought.
So... I wrote a pretty detailed review and it didn't save.... BooReplacement for a carryon I used for 6-7 years that I loved. Had returned one that tipped over when used. This one leans back slightly, so when using, it doesn't tip over. Easy to maneuver. I didn't want the 4 wheeled ones because the packing space is smaller. It is bigger than my old one. Lots of space. Just know it is 'thicker' than most and I had to sort of work it into the overhead. It would not fit if expanded or if bulky things in outside pockets. Now that I know it, I'll just make sure of that before getting on the plane. Wished it came in a color other than black, but not a deal breaker. Happy to have a bag I will use for a long long time!April 4, 2017 update- I've used it on 2 round trip flights since receiving it a couple weeks ago. It fit in SW and in United's overheads. It looks bigger than what my other bag that this one replaced. I measured it, and it was 15 inches, not 14. It also looked a bit thicker than 9 inches, but if not packed full, it seemed to smash down to 9 inches. At airport I found an empty gate, and tried to put it in the metal carry on luggage checker that United has that determines if your luggage meets the requirements of carryon 22x14x9. It did not fit. It was too wide to fit in the 9 inch width. I really like the bag, but it is not carry on criteria sized. I was nervous at the gate until I got on the plane. If they had required me to measure my bag, it would not have met the requirements. It is a great piece of luggage, but the size is a deal breaker for me. While it passed thru and got on the plane as a carryon for 4 flights, I will always be uncomfortable using it if I'd keep it. I think I will return it.

First trip with this new suitcase, and the airline ...
First trip with this new suitcase, and the airline (Air Canada) made me check this supposed carryon suitcase. I protested, so they did the test in the measuring bin. Not even close! Strange, since the ad states 20 inch, while the airline accepts up to 21.5x15. 5x9. False advertising, defeats the purpose...

Haven't used yet.
I like the apparent quality of the cases. They appear to be well made. I haven't used them yet, to see how they withstand the baggage handlers. It was humorous that they are called Aspire Xlite, and the box they came in had a HEAVY label on it!

Good size but not for airlines
This luggage was exactly the inside size with zippered compartments on the outside that I was searching for. The manufacturer description indicates airline size bulkhead compatible. However, I've been stopped at the boarding gate and it is not regulation size for most North American carriers.

Great bag for price!
It may be their lower end product but it’s still very well made. Used it on a handful of trips this far, even checked it once, and it’s fairing well. It is a bit large for carry on so by some standards, it may be too big or if you overstuff it, could run into issues and have to check it. I bought this as a bigger carry on option but actually like it more than my smaller, pricier one!
