Lamoone Premium Dried Bael Fruit Slices.
I'm glad I found dried Bael on Amazon. The package is nice and tight ziploc like, but you will need a pair of scissors to begin with. The fruits look good, aren't too thin, no mold. I can't wait to make Bael tea.

Best quality dried bael fruit I've tried and it lasts a long time
Just like the bael fruit tea they serve hot or cold in Thailand. One slice in a small pot till it's amber colored can make you a good quart +1 serving. I add a little honey and enjoy every day

Unusual fruit with an interesting and tasty flavor for a drink.
Made up a pitcher of this different fruit drink from other countries in the Asian areas. The fruit is called Bael (I believe that's Indian), and in English it's called, among other names - Stone Apple. Actually, it looks like an apple, but has a hard outer skin and a soft pulpy inside with small seeds, all shaped like a wagon wheel. They are sliced crosswise and dried. There's a recipe on the 7.06 oz. package of dried Bael slices. I followed it (involves boiling the fruit for a while), and put it in the fridge to chill. The liquid is kind of a clear reddish brown color, similar to iced tea, and has a slight citrusy flavor, plus it also reminds me of apple juice. The batch I made is not real intense in flavor, but fine. It can be made stronger if preferred, and some honey, sugar, lemon can be added if desired. Personally, I'm enjoying the cool refreshing taste of what I made, over ice, and will make it again. Also considering trying it as a nice hot cup of "Organic Herbal Tea" for a pick-me-up in the mornings or afternoons. It is all natural, and worth trying.

Great quality of product that makes okay'ish tea.
I want to start by saying the packaging and the actual fruit of this product are very high quality. The cuts of bael fruit are thick and meaty and very well dried. You can see the sheen on each piece that shows how well dried it was. It looked good enough to eat as it was. Its not... don't try... but it LOOKS like you could.I ended up making the whole bag at once as part of a family dinner. Following the instructions led to a very mild and simple flavor not so different from a black tea. I ended up adding some lemon juice and coconut sugar to get it to a more iced tea sort of flavor.I like what the package claims about health benefits. But I have a long running rule that unless a healthy "alternative" is cheap and easily acquired I'll stick to proper diet and exercise. I like the price of Lamoone's product but given it made just about a single gallon of mild tea I don't think this is going to be a regular purchase.

Nice mild flavor
This was my first time trying Bael fruit tea, but I think it has a nice flavor, at least with a little sweetener. I tend to drink my tea hot/very warm, so that's how I tried this one, too. It has a slight citrus flavor to it, so I like it more for a summer tea. It's easy to use. Just boil the desired number of slices or pour hot (almost boiling) water over the slices in a cup (like I do) and let it soak for several minutes. I'm happy with it.

Just wasn't for me
I tried making tea from this in a few different ways. I tried using it to flavor a different cup of tea. That's when I realized I just don't like this bael fruit. The flavor doesn't agree with me. I've tried it hot, I've tried cold, I've tried it with a variety of sweeteners and it just isn't my kind of thing. I will say it is very well sealed in a sturdy bag. If you know you like this bael stuff, you'll probably be happy with this.

Throw it in the shaker!
I'm still not sure what bael fruit is, but I like what it can do! I like to ad a slice or two to cocktails (or at least what I call cocktails). I simply rehydrate the slices in warm water for a few minutes, as I gather other ingredients and then add them to the shaker with a little bit of my preferred syrup and mash them before adding ice and other liquids. Shake, stir, and pour. These seem to add a little citrusy flavor to my "tropical" mixes that can replace lemon (doesn't have the sourness, though). It's a great way to experiment and add a unique flavor to your drinks.
