Helle HELLE52 Knife

I got my Helle 52 today ,my first Helle . It came in a very classy package (Tube) In it was the knife ,a cloth and a booklet on how to take care of the knife.. I think the sheath could have a little better ,although it is nice. Only one row of stitching, and sheath seemed kind of dry..The sheath has a interesting way of keeping the blade from cutting the stitching, so you don't have to worry about that ... The piece of leather that comes over the top of the knife and locks the knife in the sheath ,works great. The back of the sheath has a little length of raw hide looped through 2 holes ,to make it a dangler, I guess.. Now the Knife ,It is as sharp as you might have heard. Crazy razor sharp! The knife needs to out of reach of people, just like you do with your firearms.. I think the sheath could have been made a little better, although it is nice. Don't use the cloth that come with the knife it will scratch the blade as I found out, the cloth is more like fine sand paper than cloth... The blade is very highly polished ,the handle is really nice Birch and fits my hand perfect. (3.5 in. across the palm)The HELLE52 is almost to pretty to use, I really like it .. Wish I could afford more of these knives but I won't have any doubts about the Quality of these knives . I will save my pennies to buy a bigger one ,gonna be hard to wear all of my favorite knives on my belt.. If you Baton with this knife you shouldn't own it , use an axe ,hatchet anything besides your knife ! ...
