These were the perfect size for storing and so items inside weren't too heavy. Seem to be good quality and sturdy for food storage - we used mylar bags inside.

These are exactly what I was looking for - containers that are 2 gallon, 9.5" wide, 9.5" tall, the same size as the other pails I have been using over the years. There have been a few reviews commenting on how difficult it is to seal the lid and get the lid off - if you want to take the lids on and off, you have to TEAR OFF THE TAB and a portion of the plastic rim around the lid. I used to get these same pails with protein in them and in order to get the lid off, you have to tear the tab. Definitely recommend

So they are pails - they hold stuff - no leaks. Well made but more expensive than I what I’d hoped for. There must be a shortage of plastic cuz these were expensive! But they do the job and were the least expensive of all the other choices.

These two gallon buckets are the perfect size and safe for food storage. They also freeze well. I've ordered twice already and definitely ordering again. The company is very easy to reach and very accommodating. Worth ten stars!

I make a lot of one-gallon country wines using somewhat past-prime fruit culled from the local grocery stores by a food pantry group here. I've learned that it's sufficient to cover my buckets with cloth in the initial vigorous fermentation phase, but if I want to install grommets for air locks into the covers, I can do that. This is a good value on these buckets. Get the tool to open them, and you won't be sorry.

The lids of these really suck. If pressed on I literally can't get them off. Which means we have to just set the lids on top instead of seal them on. Even my husband thinks they're too difficult to take on and off. Otherwise they work like you'd expect.

I am not good at figuring out the size by reading it and I didn’t think they were so small but they are good buckets, I store in it wheat berries, had to use a hammer to close the lid so I hope it will work well
