This product works great for grabbing small items. I liked it so much I bought one for my friend. If you pull the back plunger out a little bit you'll notice that there is a threaded rod to where you can adjust the opening on the four hook grabber.

using these for terp pearls. compared to the pick-up tool that seems to pop up all over amazon and comes with all the pearl sets I've come across, this one is much easier to handle thanks to the more aggressive knurling and larger collar. also feels more durable, gives me the impression that will hold up to a lot more use.
