Indoor Outdoor Thermometer Large Waterproof Wall Patio Weather Thermometer No Battery Required Hanging Decor (White)

With record breaking heat in Las Vegas, I thought it would be great to see the actual temperature in the shade on our back porch. This large dial thermometer fit the bill. The first one I ordered got lost in the mail so had to reorder it and get a refund. That’s all settled and now I can look out the back door and see how hot it really is here at the house and not the airport. So far, the highest temp I’ve seen is 121 and that was typical for almost an entire week. There’s also a hygrometer but it’s a lot smaller and you have to squint to see it. I’m also suspicious of the accuracy as it tends to show much higher humidity than the weather shows. Oh well. Still happy with it. Highly recommended.

I chose this instrument because it was a nearly perfect match visually for a wall clock we have enjoyed for years. I was initially concerned when, upon opening the package on a hot day, the thermometer was reading about 10 degrees too high. The instruction sheet tucked in the package included the unlikely recommendation in such a case to place the thermometer in a refrigerator for five minutes before checking its accuracy. After that simple step, the easily-read dial settles to within one degree of a good electronic thermometer - consistently just below. That suggests the minor difference could likely be erased by the calibration procedure.

This thing looks great! It's nowhere near being acurate, but hanging just outside of my patio doors, I can still wonder what the temp is. I also bought a weather station that tells me inside and outside temps. It's not as fun to look at, but now I get pool temp and spa temp, inside temp and outside temp and most importantly, IT'S ACURATE!

I use this in my basement near my wine rack. I can monitor both the temperature and humidity in one place. Very simply and easy. Nothing special, it is all plastic, but does the job

We hung this thermometer on our back porch where it can be seen from the dining room window. The good news is that it is reasonably accurate. The bad news is that it is not quite as legible from about 10 feet away as I had hoped. We can definitely see the pointer but it is hard to distinguish the exact temperature. You have to estimate temperature based on the distance between the larger ten-based numbers.Generally this thermometer is a good value for the money.

I ended up buying two, as I was very pleased with this product. Both are accurate to thr T. Quality work.

I calibrated it indoors first before hanging inside the chicken coop. I mounted it at the very top since heat rises and it matches the Blink camera temperature, also mounted at the top of coop, pretty well. I gave it three stars because it is super cheap lightweight plastic. I have no way to guage the humidity but it doesn't appear to accurate. Meaning it's 70% outside and a bit higher in the coop
