I was expecting this large hippo statue to be, well, larger, but it turned out to be smaller than I anticipated. That said, it's still a fun and quirky addition to my home!I’ve found it to be a convenient spot to store my wallet, keys, and phone when I come in the door. The best part is that my kids absolutely love it! It adds a bit of personality to the space, and it’s become a little favorite in our house.Overall, it’s a cute and functional piece, just not as large as I imagined.

Bought this to be a candy dish for my office. I love it! super fun color. People comment on it all the time. Holds a lot of candy so I don't have to refill it all the time. Very cute. It's lighter weight than I was expecting, but it's really good quality. I'm very happy with it.

This thing is awesome! I bought two for Christmas presents.One sibling didn't like it and gave it back, but that's because she's a normie without good taste. Said it clashed with her style. Whatever. She gave it back, so I gave it to a friend, who upon seeing it, immediately exclaimed, "YES!! I've been wanting a house hippo! You could put your keys in it, you could put tampons in it. The possibilities are ENDLESS!" Mm. Get you a friend that has good taste.The other sibling I bought one for seems to like it. He calls it his son and named it "Freddiger." Watching him cradle it in his arm and unironically pet it was a highlight of the holiday. He later put peanut-butter cups in it, so Fredigger has been put to work.It's a bit lighter than I thought it would be since the paintwork is so good that it looks metallic or stone. It's also pretty sturdy. The size is a bit small for a candy bowl unless you don't want all your house guests eating all your candy. There is a bigger size that I may end up getting some time. My thought I'd that it would work well as a fruitbowl. Or as a litmus test to see if new friends are keepers with good taste.

Absolutely LOVE this little guy! I got the medium size. I was hesitant because he’s quite pricey but I’m happy with the purchase. It’s more of a teal than a blue, which fits right in with my decor. It’s good quality and the mouth fills quite a bit. Giftable. I would buy again.
