This works great, and it’s a easy install.

The Larson Heavy Duty storm door closer worked well as a replacement on my Andersen/ Emco full glass storm door. Installation was easy and all required parts are included. This was much less that the Andersen product and works great.

Finally had a chance to swap out a weathered (Florida) screen door closer with this heavy duty unit. It's only been a fee weeks but so far, so good. It was an easy swap of old for new.

I think this one works better than the one I got with the door.

This item is similar to an older model on my front storm door and has held up tremendously. This was installed on a Larsen door with a built in screen. Since day one I could never get the one supplied originally to work properly. It would either slam shut if the screen was open. No adjustment could be made to stop it. If I did the door wouldn’t close properly when the screen was closed and A/c on. This new closer worked in both cases with no adjustment and I did not have to change the mounting hardware

The pair does not provide a smooth, controlled closure of the storm door. The instructions explain how to install them, but says little about how to adjust them optimally.

Sturdy, smooth operation opening or closing. Adjusts easily. Easy install.
