Lavandin essential oil is extracted from the Lavandin plant which, in the true sense, not a natural plant. It is the product of the hybridization of two plants, the true lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) and the spike lavender or aspic (Lavandula Latifolia). It is widely grown in France and its oil and flowers are more favored by the perfume industry. Lavandin essential oil is extracted through the process of steam distillation from Lavandin's fresh flowering tops.
