Perfect fit for my 2020 VW Tiguan. I use k&n filters on all of my vehicles. It's much easier to clean and reuse cabin and engine air filters rather than buying new ones every time It saves you money in the long run. Dish soap and water works fine when you have to clean it.

I installed this filter 4 days ago. It definitely feels like my fan is flowing more air and cooling the inside of my car (2019 Jetta S). Others have mentioned an odd smell and I can smell it but personally, I don't find it to be unpleasant. Hopefully with frequent use the smell will go away.Overall I love this filter. It fit perfectly, feels like more air coming out of my vents, and it's washable.

Using it for a couple months now. No issues and easy to install.

First off, I have a 2016 GTI. Just out of warranty, so I stopped going to the stealership that seemingly didn’t replace the filter even though they charged me for it. Only time will tell if my filter really gets as dirty, but at least I can clean/reuse this one. It also fit more snug and noticeably eliminated a slight rattle at low fan speeds. This filter is a great replacement, but as others have mentioned, it has an oily smell for a bit. I’ve had mine a week and I still notice it when I get in the car. Might need to get a Pureflow air freshener for the filter.

Long time user of K&N engine air filters and cabin air filters.I just installed the K&N VF2047 on our 2021 VW Jetta GLI with 2.0L engine. It is a direct fit. As shown in the pictures, the white filter is the original VW / OEM filter. The black filter is the K&N 2047. The picture with the cover in place is over the K&N filter. Piece of cake, less than 5 minutes of work.For those of you that have never removed the plastic cover with the 3 plastic tabs, I use wood popsicle sticks to lightly wedge between the 3 tabs to release them.Don't forget to save whatever old disposable filter was in there. I use the old one when I need to replace the K&N filter for cleaning.

It Works very Good....but Pricey with a bit of hassle involvedIt's K&N, works great, better flow, washable/reuseable (but with a bit of hassle washing/oiling) and of course it's COSTs 5x $$ a basic,,,,,but worth it if you do the extra work of maintenance
