Pros -They protect your boots and PlugsCons -If your headers and your plug boots are touching nothing will change the fact that you need wires with ceramic boots,5 Stars for what they are 2 stars for what they are not.These damn good job of protecting my spark plug wire boots, for the one cylinder where the boot was touching the header, these do a great job but cant break the laws of physics, if you have spark plug boots close to your headers these will protect them and lengthen the life of the plugs and boots considerably, if you have after market headers and your boots touch the header you'll need wires with ceramic boots.

These fit well over the boots of my cables. The boots are surrounded by metal sleeves that "protect the boot" but always ended ruining the rubber by therm-cycleing it and making it brittle over time. I installed these and now the rubber is still nice and rigid.I would highly recommend it if you're having troubles with cracking/brittle cable boots near the spark plugs.

These do not fit ls style plugs, you have to cut the metal ring for them to fit.These do not handle 1200F mine turned brittle and white when near a wrapped header. I ended up making my own out of exhaust wrap.

These are ran directly touching my long tube headers with over 5k miles plus break in and not even stiff rubber on the wire boots yet.

Used these on GM products with little or no heat protection to the spark plugs and wire boots. After 6-months of use, I had the opportunity to remove a plug wire and found it UNHARMED and pliable. An UPGRADE to tune-ups

These are the first product to work on a BBC with headers in an '87 K-5. All other angled boots or insulated sleeves melted the boot causing misfire. Often at the worst time.

Great looking product but it did NOT fit my angled plug boots. Too narrow to go over boots.

Ok for summer only or, show, or drag applications.. Anything that will not get them wet. One of mine arrived with a bit of foreign goo on it, when i tried to wash it all of its ink let go, what a mess.. It's water soluble dye that they've used. So if you ever go out in the weather, and your like me, where I have no fenderwells, these babies will leak their ink all down the side of your engine leaving these horrendous purple blue streaks that once the exhaust cooks on, I'm sure is no longer water soluble.

Absolute trash. The sleeve had absolutely no protection against the heat. Burned through them and ruined a $200 set of spark plugs. No way they rated for 1200 degrees.Edit-Further examination revealed another plug burned through

These things are awesome and so was the price!The only thing I would change is the listing. It indicates for chevy engines when really they are for any V8 engine as there are 8 of them. I've got them on my small block Chrysler and they saved my wires which were getting melted by the headers I installed.

My S-10 SBC has shorty plugs and also has an extra header flange so I can get the plugs out without taking off my headers . Yes it's tight but these boots work great and save my plugs and wires.

Its a good product but has a metal ring about 1inch inner diameter. Did not fit over msd wires easily had to cut each ring out.
