Alternatively, living in our different worlds (vessels) makes us both desire and shun other worlds; rejecting the restrictive vessel might be the best approach to happiness. The analogy of search for the elusive pot of gold illustrates both these points, I thought. The vessel series was all about the private worlds that we all build around us with things that are comfortable to us and perhaps alien to others.
